Remember that $2,000 gold-and-caviar pizza at Industry Kitchen in FiDi? Good newsyou can now get a similarly ritzy pie for only $20 at Ribalta in Greenwich Village.
Chef Pasquale Cozzolino tricks out his version, called Oro Nero, with buffalo mozzarella, caviar, a runny egg, white-truffle gold dust and winter black truffles. The specialty pie is only available today, so get it while it's cheap.
I am sure no one cares.
Well,Greenwich Village *is* different from every other spot on earth.
The little fish who never had a chance care.
Probably tastes just like Anchovies.
In a few months, we will be vacationing in NYC, largely for the food. And mostly pizza! (good pizza hard to get near me)
You could not pay me to eat this gimmicky crap.
And I make it a point to thank each and every one of then for their sacrifice just before consuming their savory, salty goodness.
I love 'em all... Russian Beluga, Japanese Ikura, Greek Taramosalata ...I remember each and every delicious little egg.
Sounds and looks disgusting.
Hey,have a party! Twenty bucks for a few grams of caviar for you and $15 for about 8 ounces of prime rib for me.
Lol! Thanks!
That’s a great idea for losing weight!
I’m gonna start thanking each and every peanut M&M.
you don’t go for runny egg pizza?
Me neither!
Some c-stores do make a good breakfast pizza, nice road food
I was out on the town in Boston with a date, and in our travels, stopped in at the Ritz-Carlton and ended up ordering the caviar plate in the bar. Beluga and Sevruga, that I remember. It was the mid-1980s. Yes, with lower end champagne.
I don’t know what that is, but it’s NOT a pizza.
You don't get to New York much,do you! ;-)
To each his own - I don't like anchovies all that much but prefer them to caviar - especially on a "pizza".
I guess some of us have beer palates in a champagne world.
Runny eggs? Yes. Pizza? Most definitely! Just not together. And caviar alone or in any combination is gross.
