Agreed 100 percent.
My wife had sinus cancer surgery and foreign doctor botched it badly, putting the left side of her face back together.
We became friends and I pushed her kinda hard to get plastic surgery. It was covered under insurance.
They did a very good job.
Later on, we started dating and here we are :)
BTW, she had been disfigured 6 years before we met, and if I was around there would have been a lawsuit.
Don’t believe much in them, but trust me, this guy was a disaster on wheels.

Now that is the righteous purpose of plastic surgery IMO. In instances such as that, it can really help a person.
One thing I can understand is a person who is already attractive having so much done to their face that they become virtually unrecognizable.
Melanie Griffith, for instance. She used to be so pretty, and now is just a train wreck.
