He was understandably concerned election night. Polls had her leading for months, and the exits did show she would win fairly easily. The kids were telling him things didn’t look so good.

I recall him saying that he really didn’t quite believe the election day polls based on his rally sizes. Kelly Ann and his numbers guru were in disagreement with the polling. The campaign’s internal polling called every state right except for Wisconsin and Colorado.

Have to admit, I sat in front of the TV hopeful, but apprehensive at 7PM. Put a pot of coffee on at 9PM. At the start of the night, the only ray of hope I could find were results from some rural Indiana and Kentucky that had him winning 80/20. Enough to make one go hmmm in the face of exit polling.

We don’t have television in our house and a friend invited my family over for dinner and to watch the results roll in. My friend was a Trump supporter but believed the polls. I kept telling him Trump would handily win. Watching the poll results come in and the ensuing talking head media meltdown was one of the highlights of my adult life.

I bet I have watch the meltdown videos on Youtube 50 times.

I will be doing anything I can to support President Trump and his final destruction of the ruling class elites.

Truly amazing when you really ponder what has and is happening.

MAGA!!!!!!!

Not to be dramatic, but while watching the election results things were fast and furious starting at 7 pm eastern as polls started to close and it was nip and tuck for awhile and I will admit, I was starting to lose hope 8:30 ish to 9 when he lost Virginia and NC and FL were close. But something happened between 9 and 10:30...I can’t explain it, but I felt like something dramatically changed...I got a text from my son that showed the NY Times showing Trump with a 95% chance of winning...it seemed like there was an absolute reversal of everything in about 90 min.

On election nite, I noticed that one news source will call a state, but the others delayed. By about 8:30 CT, several states had been called on some networks but not on all networks.

Then, the broadcasting of results stopped completely — for about 3 hours.

I suspected then that they saw Clinton losing. They halted the counting to see how many ‘extra’ votes she would need. I think in many states the margin of her losses were just too much. It would look fishy if she started winning states by 110-120% of the votes. They knew it was over for Clinton. She just could not catch up.
