Hi Meg! We are trying to figure out where the puppy crate will go, should this work out. It has not been used in 12 years. We’ve adopted adult dogs the last 3 times. We still have a puppy food + water bowl set. I found 3 different size puppy collars last night. We really just need the puppy, and puppy chow.
How about our President Trump! I was watching Varney on Fox Biz this morning and he said Trump is working starting when the sun comes up! Love his energy.
Soon, I will be “not sleeping much” like Trump, if we get this puppy.
Cheers!

What a gorgeous kitty in the sun. Looks like a “Tiger” to me.
So far we are liking Buster Brown for the puppy we might get.
I keep offering up other names, but so far Buster is it.

Training potty pads for when he can’t go out, too!
Yes..You’ll need some Trump energy.
Love our President!

Hi! Lucky for us, we are home a lot. When we’ve had puppies, we can let them out every half hour and then they never need to pee inside. Then at night, we use the puppy crate and they feel that is their little special place and won’t pee there. Early in the morning, we whisk a puppy out to the yard immediately. That is the tricky part, being quick enough when you are tired in the morning, to get a pup outside really fast.
I am a bit concerned at the delicious piano legs on my baby grand that I love so much. We managed to have Riley never touch them, but he was 8 months old when we got him. He was very very naughty though.
If we get this puppy, I will watch him like a hawk. There are lots of chewable things, the piano being the most precious to me.
Cheers!

I am still waiting to hear from the rescue. They did call my references last night, very soon after I submitted my application. Maybe they are having a hard time reaching my vet. I will try to enjoy the next few days of calm around here, because if it works out, the calm will be gone for about a year until he settles down.

“Buster” is a good name for a dog!

Hmmm I have no idea how to protect the piano legs.
Good luck!

When we got Riley, people suggested wrapping the piano legs in something soft. I said that would only make them more appealing to the dog. LOL. I opted for vigilant supervision of the dog.

Oh good! Glad you like it. I do too. I thought he looked like a Buster from the first second I saw his picture.

Happy Wednesday, FRiends.
Thank you for your wonderful graphics.
We are expecting another warm spring-like day. Should be in high 60's or low 70's.
After that! .... more rain coming Thursday night, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
We need the rain but getting it all at one time is not good.
I need to do some work here but I will try to come back later.

Thank you Amy.
I thought about those of you in California, even checked a map to see where the Oroville Dam was!
Things are budding out here too, way too soon in the middle of February! Strange weather. I hate winter and live to see Spring again each year.
I'm glad I stopped by! :)

Happy Wednesday, Meg.
Cute graphic .... thank you.
I've had a busy day.
I've misplaced something and have spent 3 days looking for it. I think I need to forget it. :)
Hope your day was warm and fuzzy. We had a high of 69 today. Expecting a fast moving storm tomorrow.
Starting Friday, we may get 3 days of rain. It would be great if we could get a day or two break between storms.
Guess you just can't make us happy. :)

Hope your day was warm and fuzzy.
I'm not sure if we have seen the end of winter or not. Just have to wait and see.

Love it, Trisham. Thank you.
Seems that every year my body slows down a little more.
Another three years, I'll be lucky to post a new thread once a year. LOL
Thank you for being here and helping to keep our doors open.

Happy Wednesday, SJB. Has it been 10 years?
Regarding the traffic, I know what you mean.
Fresno traffic looks like LA's traffic not too many years ago.
If California's ballot has a question about seceding from the Union, I'm voting yes.
Then getting out of Dodge. Have to decide on either Prescott or Carson City, NV.
Hate the thought of driving through another country to get to the ocean, so it may be Prescott.
At least we could get to the Gulf of CA.
If we decide on Carson City, our water experience will have to be Lake Tahoe. LOL
Either one would be an improvement over Socialist California.
I'll get off my soapbox now.
Hope you had a great day.
