Three U.S. Republican senators including Kansas' Jerry Moran and Pat Roberts demanded this month that the Department of Homeland Security provide immigration records for 38-year-old Tomas Martinez-Maldonado, who is charged with a felony in the alleged Sept. 27 attack aboard a bus in Geary County. He is being held in the Geary County jail in Junction City, which is about 120 miles west of Kansas City.
U.S. Sen. Charles Grassley, from Iowa and chairman of the judiciary committee, co-signed a Dec. 9 letter with Moran and Roberts to Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, calling it "an extremely disturbing case" and questioning how Martinez-Maldonado was able to re-enter and remain in the country.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it has placed a detainer a request to turn Martinez-Maldonado over to ICE custody before he is released with Geary County. ICE declined to discuss his specific case beyond its October statement regarding the 10 deportations.

19 Deportations?
I think after the third one they should be subject to summary execution.
You’d only have to do a few.
My dad worked for Greyhound his entire life. I rode the bus from Kansas to Texas several times a year when I was in college, at night. My dad always said to sit behind the driver and not to talk to strangers. We had a one hour layover in Tulsa and I was told and did go and sit in the ladies lounge the entire time. Scary. Now I’m sure that there are no “ladies lounges” and I don’t know whether I would trust the driver.
Every member of Congress for the last 3 decades who has refused to support the building of a manned border wall is indirectly responsible for the rape of this 13 year old, and should never be allowed to forget it.

It appears that is correct. So be it.
If I did a crime in a foreign country, I would expect to be sentenced to jail or prison in that country.
Incarceration (Sheriff Joe style) might be more effective than habitual deportation of criminals.
If he had been caught in a sanctuary jurisdiction he would already be back from another taxpayer provided trip home.
“Of course, no one bothered to ask him what gets done with detainees: most get released with a Court date (which they ignore, just like they ignore the border).”
Maybe every tenth detainee gets tossed into jail until the court date, then sent to prison for a few years. Or - every 100th detainee gets tossed into jail, a court date, and if found guilty, life in prison. That would probably cut down on the numbers of people crossing.
I don’t see either of those as a deterrent. I say take a DNA sample; escort them back across the border on the spot; first deportation = permanent ban on citizenship and no work visa for 5 years. Identity theft or illegal voting = 10 years hard labor. Something like that.
You have to admit, he loves America more than do most liberals. Liberals keep threatening to leave but unfortunately they never do.
You have to break a few eggs to make an omelet.
I have traveled by Greyhound a lot and don’t consider myself to be a scumbag.
