My own view is that Donald and Ivanka and Uday and Qusay are genuinely bad human beings and that the American public has made a grave error in entrusting its highest office to this cast of American Psycho extras. That a major political party was captured by these cretins suggests that its members are not worthy of the blessings of this republic. . . . Kevin Willamson, National Review

The first paragraph was enough. I need no further convincing that this maggot is not worthy of my time.
There are genuinely thoughtful articles all over the internet, just waiting to be read and discussed. This isn’t one of them.
National Review, in a generation, has gone from being a must-read to being unreadable.

Kevin D. Williamson = Head Clickbaiter at National Review.
I’m not taking the bait and giving NR a click.
Enemy of the state.
As a person, one to one, he is insufferable.
I read the whole story, and while the guy hates Trump, he also has loathing for Hillary - it’s not as bad as the headline and some comments make it - I think the guy is nuts because of his attitude towards Trump, but some of the ‘purpose of the article” makes at least a little sense.
"The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible. Forget all your cheap theatrical Bruce Springsteen crap. Forget your sanctimony about struggling Rust Belt factory towns and your conspiracy theories about the wily Orientals stealing our jobs. Forget your goddamned gypsum, and, if he has a problem with that, forget Ed Burke, too. The white American underclass is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trumps speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isnt analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul".

As Trump would say, in a sarcastic tone, "What a real beaut that guy is." Here's a Hotair.com distillation of his comments from the NR piece (the avoid having to go to NRO directly and read his crap): Those white, working class, Trump supporting communities deserve to die
Sorry, Kevin-- you pseudo-intellectual who didn't go to an Ivy League school like Trump and his kids-- the white working class came alive and voted Trump in. Merry Christmas, Kevin, you miserable, nasty human being.
Williamson writes how, in order to be human, you have to have manners.
And then he writes an ill mannered boorish piece like this!
This is how liberals express themselves, with rudeness, hypocrisy and irony. Williamson presents himself as a centrist, writing in the National Review. So my takeaway is he’s a RINO.
And it begins to make sense.
KW has lost the plot. His outlook for the election was completely wrong and the result has enraged him. Like so many before him, he’s adopted the tactics of those he once mocked.
National Review will be bankrupt in a year.
Good riddance.
I appreciate post made here from National Review and the weekly Standard. It’s the only way I have of seeing what they write since I absolutely will not visit their sites any longer.
He was comparing Trump’s children to Saddam’s children.
Truly disgusting and delusional.
Saddam’s son’s were sadistic killers and Trump’s kids are exemplary citizens.
It IS drivel and propaganda.
What is this ‘National Review’ of which you speak?
@KevinNR
You can tweet this moronic idiot directly.
Good God.. Williamson should be writing for Salon. Comparing the Trumps to Saddam’s sons? Really??
Hey Kev!
What part of Hillary is not evil?
You prefer her anti-constitutional, anti-Christian, anti-captialism, form of fascism?
He’s probably a spirit cooker
