Mr. President, we can get cheap Hollywierd entertainment in more places than we wish already.
How about, instead of Music acts, bring Tony Robbins in for a 15-min Investment tip/how-to? We recognize you're going to set the economic field for the Middle Class to come roaring back to life, can we celebrate that?
You don’t listen to much country do you?
Start with Trace Atkins
Yes
That and a nickel will buy you a nice hot cup of JACK SQUAT!
Lets gave Mr. Trump a little bit of credit that he doesn't think of us like condescending libtards do...
Heh, good point.
I recall it as,
“Hail to the Chief, if you don’t I’ll to kill you,
I am the Chief, so you’d better watch your step, you bastards.”
I think that was James Garner’s version, while Jack Lemmon’s was more subdued.
I agree. We had a concert at our church last year featuring the jazz band of a local National Guard unit, and they were extremely good. The national bands/choirs of all the services are amazing.
Why not the Rolling Stones? Wasn’t “you can’t always get what you want” Trump’s anthem?
@patriciamary, Yes, I know. I think you meant to respond to jettester.
I have no idea. However, it seems to me that only American performers should be used, in keeping with one of the main themes of Mr. Trump’s campaign. We have more than adequate talent here, in many genres.
For example, although Mr. Bocelli has wimped out of performing, there are fine operatic tenors graduating from our universities each semester. A very gifted young man sang at my son’s graduation from UNC-Charlotte last weekend.
In that first photo, he looks like he’s trying to not drown.
Absolutely. Who doesn’t know that by now?
“How about, instead of Music acts, bring Tony Robbins in for a 15-min Investment tip/how-to?”
?
How would a new age snake oil peddler be good for Trump?
You mean firewalking isn’t real?!!
now you tell me
Some people like to party and if there was ever a reason to party it’s Trump’s inauguration.
They’ve had association through Learning Annex talks. But Robbins was Bill Clinton’s guru during his impeachment so I’m sure DJT would pass.
I don’t think so. He was hired by Billy C. to improve his image, and Tony said, “Are you sure you want me? I didn’t vote for you.”
Personally, I’m not fond of military bands having heard the Queen of England’s band let loose with Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana”. Just me, I guess.
Or this radical left schmuck (Steve Earl). Note the red communist star.
