Donald Trumps victory in November was not only the most important election result of our lifetimes, but ranks as one of the most significant events in recorded history, on par with the French Revolution or the fall of the Berlin Wall. And Ill tell you why.
Western society is super-saturated with leftist propaganda. Politically astute non-leftists see it everywhere and complain about it incessantly because it is ubiquitous. In fact, most of our waking hours are spent noticing, commenting upon, getting outraged by and then futilely combatting the endless, relentless leftist slant to everything in modern culture.
Every news broadcast. Every movie. Every lesson in every classroom. Every social signifier in public. Every poll. Every TV show. Every tribal shibboleth. In ways large and small, overt and covert, subtle and blatant, the society around us is infused with progressive ideals and agendas, whether you realize it or not...

There was a big lesson that I hope was learned this time. Just electing Trump will not be enough. It will take “the people” who care about this country to keep engaged and keep fighting. Trump will need all of our support and we must call out the liars and stick with it like we did the whole election.
We get lazy and start backing down, THEY will win.
Exactly
And we need a group of new leaders beside Trump
Fortunately Trump had the $$$$ and previous exposure
The French Revolution is not a good thing, it broke loose the can of worms of Socialism, communism and the ultra left wing

So, it follows that a counter revolution could crush that can and all worms along with the ultra-progs.
Hillary lost the electoral vote. She lost 3 individual state recounts. She lost a massive intimidation and appeal to (false) fear campaign aimed at overturning the ECV. The street riots accomplished nothing except to harden the conservative and commonsensical side while perhaps placing a small percentage of the inculcated into abeyance. Crowds chanted ‘CNN sucks” and “You lie”, aimed at the propagandizers. All the prog press are losing subscribers, clicks and relevance. The alt media is rising like yeast on a hot day.
It looks like investigations into pay-to-play, monetized treason and a viciously immoral blackmail system that destroys children are accelerating. Decades and decades of subversion of the US Government are already being exposed and will be erased.
Trump showed us that there is not only no compromise, we must double and triple down just as they do. Call them out, only do it while telling them how much we love them: ie: it’s for their own good and they are going to love the result.
Reagan’s election was a counterrevolutionary attempt, but the quisling GOPe insisted on Bush Sr to keep him in check. Trump has no handlers. His avoidance of CIA briefings, which he recognized as manipulation, is indicative of a paradigm change. He was a catalyst dropped in the swamp. Now, he can vacuum up the precipitate.
If the infrastructure is returned to its original intent, that, combined with an awakened global citizenry, can force the progs into impotence. This will spread. They did globalize Marxism, giving Trump and others across the planet a clear target, too large to miss.
Humans are hardwired for freedom. This is like the fall of the USSR after 70 years. It can be done.
All so true but the indoctrination in our schools has to stop
That is where it all began and must end
the Left will submit articles of impeachment the moment DJT uses executive power to reverse Obamas executive abuses.

Submission of articles of impeachment means nothing unless accepted and acted upon. We learned with BJ that impeachment without indictment is impotent.
They will submit, over and over until ‘impeachment’ loss its meaning.
Executive power is Constitutional. They will agitate on personal grounds. It will fail because we will be in the midst of huge numbers of horrendous disclosures about the progs and Clintons (and maybe the zer0s)that will make Donald’s portfolio (which he has sold) and his businesses (which his children are managing) moot and even an advantage.
Expect them to try, but don’t fear the attempt.
Be it punk grandkid getting millions or entire generations inheriting peace and prosperity, those who receive what they have not earned tend to show little respect or stewardship for the gift.
Radicals, libs, dem-wits, progressives are all guilty of spitting in the faces of those who sacrificed and toiled in anonymity to produce the greatest wealth legacy in the history of the world.
Those of us alive, comfortable and prospering today owe it all to God, Constitution and generations of those who fought to protect and advance both.
That I am not so confident about. Mainly because leftists are still in control of the education system and the media. Undoing the damage and control in those two critical arenas will not be easy to change and overcome. At times I see it as impossible in fact. If for no other reason then who follows Trump? We need at the very least 2 decades worth of Trump like personalities to allow time for the change to start taking hold and reversing the current trend. I was hopeful that the Reagan Presidency was the key, but as we all know the moment Reagan was gone so was his revolution. It reverted back with the Rockefeller Republicans retaking control under George Herbert Walker Bush.
Will the Trump revolution finally change the course this country is on? I certainly hope & pray this is the case, but I know better than to think this is the end of progressive attack on American society. Instead it is just the beginning of the long hard struggle back.
If it does succeed, then it is indeed another pivotal point in human history. Only time will prove or disprove that claim.
The new Secretary of Education seems to be giving them fits, so hopefully, that’s a start.
It is difficult for parents, I think. The toxic culture is everywhere and kids follow the crowd. You can try to show them the truth, but so far, the culture has won every round. If school goes back to basics, reinstates civics and true history, that’s a part of the equation.
I have advocated for years that the right start producing entertainment as seductive as what we have but with healthy messages. Books like Rush’s show there are ways around the prog distribution system. The talent exists. There is money on the right that can be channeled to such an outcome. It needs to be edgy, modern and entertaining, not insipid. We have to become the cool kids, for a change.
Oh THANK YOU for saying this:
“The real clue as to whether it will be possible to really turn things around will be the re-institution of George Washingtons Birthday as a NATIONAL HOLIDAY”
I have long thought this is key, but can’t seem to find anyone who thinks it matters very much. No more “President’s Day” long weekend. Let MLK day become the generic one to honor “Civil Rights” and GW has his birthday as it once was.
Truth!
Precisely. The best you can do is "something fundamental changed, let's see if it goes anywhere." Sometimes it doesn't.
This might. I get the same strange sense of urgency I felt in 1989 - "something is happening here, but you don't know what it is, do you, Mr. Jones?" Two years later, no Soviet Union, no Iron Curtain, nothing remained of what looked like a more or less permanent bipolar world. Now that was a paradigm shift!
The Left in the United States has never had to pay the price of confronting the bitter fruits of its own excesses, and that has led to this wild careening through extreme positions in terms of New Racism, attempted smashing of sexual mores, and an academic canon so anti-American and pervasive that it has successfully avoided serious challenge. If that is what has changed with the latest Presidential election, then yes, we may be in the midst of something very interesting. And that, I think, explains the insensate fury of the smug, overconfident Left since 8 November. They're not only not accustomed to losing, they're accustomed to setting the very terms of victory themselves and that having been snatched back appears to be more alarming than the loss itself.
Fun times - I won't go so far as "beginning of the end," but like Churchill, it may be the end of the beginning.
“French Revolution was evil”
Yes, it was. Thank you.
