The Houston Texans remained squarely in the hunt in the AFC South with a much-needed win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. They kept pace with the Tennessee Titans, who eked out a win over the Kansas City Chiefs on a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Both teams are now 8-6 with the Indianapolis Colts one game back, setting up for a potential winner-take-all meeting between the Texans and Titans in Week 17. Their win over the Jaguars was great, but they have serious issues to deal with namely at the quarterback position where Brock Osweiler was benched in favor of Tom Savage.

From the way the Texans went out and acquired Osweiler last year, you just knew it was going to be a bad decision.
Seattle wasted a boat load on money bringing in Matt Flynn but the minimum wage Wilson won the job and the rest is history.
I could have done as well for less than half of that..............
It was legal but somewhat underhanded. Maybe a karma force involved on this.
Trade Ryan Griffin to the Patriots. He’s my cousin!
Brock had good potential, but he has a bad attitude.
He should have stood at Denver. Much better situation for him.
Yep. The dummy was next in line on a Super Bowl winning team with an awesome offense.
Do you think the Texans can get Tony Romo?
I will say though, having watched a lot of Pitt football over the years, Tom Savage looked like the best NFL prospect since Dan Marino.
I guess us Bronco fans dodged a bullet there. Trevor Siemian looks pretty good to me. Too bad the O line can’t protect him, of block for a runner.
“of” should be “or”.
I think us 49ers fans would be willing to swap Krapperdick for him -- even up.
“From the way the Texans went out and acquired Osweiler last year, you just knew it was going to be a bad decision.”
Well, yeah, because after all, when was the last time the Texans made a GOOD decision?
if they have any money left over from their Osweiler debacle
“He should have stood at Denver. Much better situation for him.”
For that kind of money, we Broncos fans are glad he didn’t.
The Texans love to throw money at people with unproven talent. That starts with the coach. Brock can’t act worth a damn either. His HEB commercials suck. HEB overpaid him , too.
I think you're stuck with him unless some liberal team owner goes bonkers. I think he's radioactive for football and he and Goodell both should leave for the good of the game.
There were rumors going around that Kappernick was going to the Jets.
