Maybe growing up reading about and seeing all the horrors of the 20th century the moral outrage from the US after the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor seems from another time. Everybody knew in the days leading up the Dec 7 war with Japan was not a question of if but when and where. The Japanese started the Russo-Japanese war with a sneak attack on the Russian navy at Port Arthur. The IDF did the same thing destroying the Egyptian Air Force to start the 6 Day War. Good to see some of the last wounds from WW II heal.

I don’t know what to say.

It's probably because I am old, but I am uncomfortable with Obama coming to Pearl Harbor. I mean, I'm OK with the Japanese PM coming - after all, we've had to put up with giggling Japanese tourists at the Arizona Memorial for decades - but Obama?
It's not like he gives a rat's butt or anything.

At least it’s not a surprise visit. The last one caused us to eventually nuke them.
Though if I were Abe (Jewish? Lincoln? Yeah I know how it’s pronounced) I’d wait till NEXT December 7. Go with a REAL American president.

Bet this is all about apologizing to Japan for containing Japanese people during the war. How low will he bow?
I think the WWII Veterans are crying from their graves.

Neither Abe nor Obama are worthy of placing their sorry asses even in the vicinity of where brave men fought and died. Abe, because his ancestors were the attackers and have never taken responsibility for WW2, and Obama, because...well...because Obama!

I just remembered- Obama was the first POTUS to visit Hiroshima. He did not literally "apologize," but he implicitly did so. He also did worse, by equating the sneak attack on us, to our responses to the attack...
PRESIDENT OBAMA: Seventy-one years ago, on a bright, cloudless morning, death fell from the sky and the world was changed. A flash of light and a wall of fire destroyed a city and demonstrated that mankind possessed the means to destroy itself.

‘Japan PM Abe to make first visit to Pearl Harbor.’
Not necessarily. He may have ‘visited’ in a previous life.

Trump should have made Hillary concede on the U.S.S. Missouri
