Cpl. Yingling had a unique call for service when the suspect, pictured, was witnessed causing prop. Destruction at a store in Char. Hall.
The “suspect attempted to flee the area,” as the sheriff’s office put it in a statement, but it was apprehended by animal control and released to an animal rehabilitator — hopefully not just to be released into the wild, but to be taught basic shopping etiquette.

Geez. Beaver getting killed in Viet Nam was a joke about forty years ago.The "Beaver died in Viet Nam" rumor was started by actress Shelly Winters during an appearance on the Tonight Show. She was booked on the program to promote her latest movie, but went on a rant about the war instead. She had seen an item in the newspaper about a local resident in L.A. with a similar name who, unfortunately was killed in action (the name was Johnny Mathers, Joey Mathers, something like that.) During her rant, she told the audience how the beloved star of "Leave It To Beaver" had just been killed in Viet Nam.

Damn straight Bemidji State! My cousin is the starting goalie for them and has been named the national division 1 player of the week twice this season and was a finalist for the Richter Award last season. Hope he wins it this year. He’s only a Junior.
