Just more proof that homosexuals run the fashion industry and have for years.

No. I never chewed, dipped or smoked. Have never felt a need to.
To: Ruy Dias de Bivar
The need to or not, a can in the back pocket was part of the uniform here.

Mine was the round pocket watch in the small watch pocket.

I remember girls like that, with HOT PANTS!

Thanks for the reminder! Back in the day we would have referred to people who acted like this as queers or homos and nobody would have thought much about it, except to agree.

"Mother never let me buy anything off the rack so I had to make everything myself."We must be sisters! My mom didn't forbid it - we just couldn't afford it. Going through my elementary school years, I had a lot of home-made flowered dresses and jumpers made from a cotton blend. Can't think of the name now but it was a heavier weight - about half way to canvas. Wore well and easy to sew as it didn't slide around or pucker. That was back when Compere, Minnesota Fabrics, and JoAnn's all sold lots of pretty fabrics. Not so much out there now and no longer such a money saver.

The red carpet mentality. To see and be seen....and hopefully *talked* about.

Ah, the dark green, corduroy, crotch length coat, leisure suit ... I had three leisure suits back then, and wore the tan and pink ones to church regularly. The Green was a work suit, college textbook sales.
