Never heard of this before - saw plenty of folks fired over 25 years, including one FFG Commanding Officer who departed his ship by jumping overboard to see if that would inspire the crew to perform a 'Man Overboard' rescue successfully. Her bio is, imho, quite unimpressive for a Commanding Officer.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

She’ll get promoted by President Valerie Jarrett . . . and get a promotion too

Could be anything, but I will say that it’s an incredibly intense job.

She’s a female. . .all that is required.

When I was a DD JO I had a skipper that quit with a nervous breakdown. Then was diagnosed with cancer. He used to break out with hives under stress.

If I were the ship's company,
I don't think I'd want to serve
under Alfred E. Neuman's
mother, anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving.

The little snowflake couldn’t handle serving under President Trump, perhaps? PPTDS? Pre-President Trump Derangement Syndrome?

Navy has been under a lot of pressure. USS Zumwalt, over budget, numerous breakdowns, can’t afford the am,o for its guns. Navy quietly reporting that it is having problems keeping the ships running (maintenance, spares). An emphasis on expensive ‘green’ fuel, transgender changes, etc, instead of focusing on its mission.
A lot of career people are calling it quits on all branches.

Will we see a lot of these in the next two months, before Trump becomes our president?

Some are born leaders, some are born followers. Pressure just may have been too much for her.

Maybe she was hoping for an all lesbian crew and the renaming of the Rushmore as USS Lesbianna, aka Hillary’s Love Boat? Not going to happen now that Trump won. It is hard to float a commissioned naval vessel down the Boulevard of Broken Dreams, isn’t it Captain Snowflake?
