Nowhere in that article did I hear mention of how unfair the electoral college was. All I heard was how advantageous it was for Democrats. Now they all of a sudden the electoral college is totally unfair and, after 230 years of using it, we need to just abandon it in and go with the popular vote. Because the Democrats lost. Good luck with that plan Democrats.

The Michigan electors are being threatened by liberals who hope to swing their votes. I think the same thing is happening in Arizona. Oathkeepers has volunteered to protect the ones in Michigan.
If anyone switches their vote due to threats of violence and creates chaos at the Electoral College, we need to arrest and send to jail for life a lot of Democrats for trying to interfere with the election. Treason is too high a charge, but something above vote fraud.

that’s right. The liberals criteria for judging people and situations, are ever shifting, depending on what the effect is for liberal candidates.

Before the election, the liberals were thrilled, that Democrats had this “blue wall”, which supposedly meant that Hillary just needed a handful of other states, in order to win.

So now that things turned out differently, now they have decided that the election was unfairly decided.

Did Republicans complain when Obama won two terms; complain as far as how the election was administered?

Obama won re-election with barely 51% of the popular vote, yet he won a clear victory in the electoral vote. Did any Republicans complain that his re-election was actually very close, if we just used the popular vote???

Just further evidence of how clueless the pollsters and the Washington Post are.

Easy counter. The popular vote is unfair because it gives a structural advantage to large states. To keep it “fair” we need to break up electoral votes by Congressional Districts like ME and NE do.

Dems would lose badly in that exchange.

I remember there was much hope in Trump winning Nevada, New Hampshire and Colorado... Instead he wins Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania and almost Minnesota.

If Trump can crack down on voter fraud then the dems are in big big trouble.

Trump, realistically, has only three paths. (And, by “realistically,” I mean within the realm of conceivable. Yes, of course, Trump could run the table of swing states and win easily. But there’s little indication that will happen.)

Bwahahahahahaha bwahahahahaha *gasp* bwahahahaha!

You'll have to excuse me...I'm still drunk on the tears of broken hearted vanquished democrats!

Chris, from the prestigious Washington Post, has convinced me. Trump will never get to 270. All is lost.

But seriously folks, does anything printed in the Washington Post ever turn out to be correct? Ever?

((for a brief moment, I thought this was a current article, that Chris was referring to the actual electoral college vote next month.))

“Now they all of a sudden the electoral college is totally unfair and, after 230 years of using it, we need to just abandon it in and go with the popular vote. Because the Democrats lost. Good luck with that plan Democrats.”

First off, Trump had a good point that he would have campaigned differently if winning the popular vote were the goal.

Second, imagine if Trump had been given even remotely fair treatment by the press. I think he would have won with a 5% margin in the popular vote easily.

Finally, I’m very interested to see what comes out regarding the illegal alien vote. One source is claiming that it’s verified that 3+ million illegals cast votes, and that alone would more than account for Hilliary’s margin. Even if it was as few as 1 million it would have made the difference. The illegal alien vote needs to be exposed to the light of day!

President Trump needs to make fair and legal elections one of his administration’s top priorities.

And nowhere in this article do they mention Wisconsin or Michigan. I lived in Wisconsin for this whole election and saw only Trump signs until the last month. Trump came here several times. And Hillary was hardly ever here.

The men and women of Wisconsin were just never going to pull the lever for Hillary. Walker has worked out too well for them.
