Have we forgotten what happened to Joe Biden and his family when the Bidens attended a Broadway Play shortly after Obama was elected in 2008?
Joe Biden and family were booed by the audience.
At the end of the play White Cast Members stood on stage and told Biden - in no uncertain terms - that Obama should NOT turn his back on White Americans - that he should be the President of All Americans - not just blacks. Then the audience booed Biden again.
A few brave souls thought the audience and cast were tacky but they were shouted down.
Oh wait, that never happened. Why? Because conservatives aren’t the rude assh*les ‘liberals’ are...
There’s a bill coming up before Congress for funding for Broadway. I think that ides in committee.
The theater has never been a bastion of conservatism. It isn’t a matter of politeness or rudeness, there simply are not enough conservatives in the business for that to happen. Also if there were a stage company that formed out of players who were predominately conservative, hypocrites like Biden, Obama or Clinton wouldn’t be caught dead attending a show there.
