The theater has never been a bastion of conservatism. It isn’t a matter of politeness or rudeness, there simply are not enough conservatives in the business for that to happen. Also if there were a stage company that formed out of players who were predominately conservative, hypocrites like Biden, Obama or Clinton wouldn’t be caught dead attending a show there.

A much as the press wants us to believe there’s a double standard for ‘rude’, there’s not.

Wealthy WHITE liberal elites (the people in the audience of Hamilton) must be held to the same standards that people at a baseball game would have been held to had they treated Obama this why when he was elected ...

This affront to manners would have been rude if it had been done at a rock concert, a farm picnic, a NASCAR race or a world series game...
