Sophie Theallet has vowed not to dress Melania Trump when she becomes First Lady and urged other designers to follow her example.
Speaking on behalf of her brand, the designer tweeted a damning open letter in which she said they 'will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady'.
Citing the 'rhetoric of racism, sexism and xenophobia' of the president-elect's campaign, she ruled out ever working with Melania - despite not having been asked.

don’t theses people realize that every time they make a statement like this how bad they look and how many sane people are driven away from even considering there view point. it s like a child who tries hold his breath tell he gets what he wants. the adult just looks on and shake there heads knowing that eventually they will be forced to breath.
I’m pretty sure the new first lady already has a designer and fashion consultant. Unlike the wookie that has occupied the White House for the last 8 years, Melania actually has class and knows how to present herself without the need of others telling her how to do it.

This is so laughable. Melania Trump is a very beautiful woman with impeccable taste....not getting free clothes from these whiney designers will not change that. On a side note....Melania should take this opportunity to give free exposure to unknown designers who are trying to make it in the fashion industry....it’s a win/win for the good guys.
Fortunately our new First Lady has the brains to never use moochie’s so-called designer. She always appeared like a sack of potatoes or a street walker. No class whatsoever.

The designer was attempting to shame her fellow designers to follow suit and shun the Trump women. By some reports, this already happened at the time of the convention.
Let’s be honest, the MSM will never stop obsessing over Mooche’s style sense and how chic she is. They will find nothing but criticism of Melania no matter that she will look stunning no matter what she wears. And, we’ll probably never hear the end of the cost of her clothes. Be prepared.
