I have been watching OANN as a cord cutter for three weeks and its positive attitude and its willingness to air news even Fox won't air has convinced me that cord cutters need help (I know I do) locating quality, non-cable sources of programming.
I plan on a separate vanity about One America News Network, but I think cord cutting is a concept that needs to reach a tipping point.
Thoughts?

I started to sign up for KLOWDTV earlier in the year but saw the Blaze and Newsmax network . . . which turned me off to the idea. I went ahead and joined up today . . . so far the news channel is pretty good. I don’t miss the so-called entertainment - just pure news.
Go here and follow the instructions to install Kodi for Fire TV and to configure it: https://www.tvaddons.ag/
You will wind up with a large library of addons that will give you access to just about everything you could want.
I use the Exodus addon to access movies and TV. There are other addons that you can use to access live sports (e.g., sportsdevil).
I also use Trak TV (free) to compile a collection of movies and TV shows that I want to watch. I can then access the same collection of movies and TV shows from every Amazon TV and firestick in my house. Very convenient.
Also, I use Real-Debrid as a tool to find sources for content. It costs $4 per month.
Everything you need to know to install and use KODI you can find at tvaddons.ag.
I’m in Northeast Ohio - find me a way to get high speed internet other than Time Warner....I don’t get cable or any of that other mish-mosh, but it’s currently the only internet service with high speed. All other providers basically subcontract through them....I’ve asked.
I thought you were talking about baby delivery lol
If you build it, I will come. Ping me please
Have not cut the cable due to wife and daughter, however both express willingness.
Have used Netflix, Amazon, recently SlingTV.
Latest discovery for me, is the huge amount of excellent content on YouTube.
Anybody that worries over lack of content, after cutting the cord is very mistaken.
Last Sunday I watched the Brazil F1 race on NBC Sorts Network via Sling TV.
But sports?
I just kind of assumed cord cutters are not the ultra HD demographic. But a google search shows you need 25mbit/second for that. As far as the new docsis standards, my old trusty bitsurfer cable modem stopped working a couple months ago. Comcast upgraded their service and my equipment was no longer compatible.
Add me to the list, have DSL, Roku, and Over The Air. Pay only for the DSL and have hundreds of channels for free with this combo. OTA is very high definition and is the basic cable package but for free with better definition.
Count me in, please!
I think it's great that you let us know about your advance plans for vanities.
What else do we have to look forward to?
Please include me on your ping list. Thank you.

>> “I dont need a newsreader to read for me.” <<
How about a news mis-reader?
That is what they really are in most cases.
.
Just be sure to add lots of clickbait. People like clickbait.
And say “Boom” a lot. Gets folks excited, like something happened.
.
Newsmax is owned by Hillary lover Chris Ruddy.
Be cautious what you read there!

But...but... Larry!?!
Where can I find out what happened next?
I have Direct Satellite and they do not have OANN. I had it on ATT Uverse before I switched over. I am contemplating canceling Direct TV and paying the penalty. I can go to my ROKU and get Sling TV and OANN for much less money than I pay now.
I cut the cord last month, except for broadband Internet.
Apple TV, Firestick, Sling, (for sports),Netflix and an HD Antenna are all you need. I do not miss cable at all. My monthly bill is $30.00
Though I will admit that it does help that my son has a PS4 and Xbox, both of which support Netflix.
I cut phone service too and now have Ooma, paid $89.00 for the equipment, and my total monthly phone bill is $4.85 for unlimited U.S. calls.
So my total monthly bill went from $250.00 per month, to $120.00 per month.
