My response to the email I received from Steve House Chairman of the Colorado GOP (see below)
Dear Mr House,
Thank you for your letter.
I support President Elect Trump fully.
I do not support the Colorado Republican Party in any way. The manner in which you conducted the caucuses represents the worst of establishment politics - the Colorado Republican Party was not interested in my voice - when you and your "I'm next in line"' establishment hacks have been replaced - I will come home - until then I will not support your undemocratic Robert's Rule's based disdain for the Coloradan voters.
If you think you will profit from Trump's coat tails think again.
Sincerely
Letter from Colorado Republican Party Chair:
Pat
What an amazing year it has been for Colorado Republicans. I could not begin to thank each and every one of you for all of the hard work, sweat, and tears you have put in for all of our Republican candidates and the next President of the United States Donald J. Trump.
While I believe we left everything on the field in both the U.S. Senate and presidential races, all Colorado Republicans should take solace in the fact we forced Democrats to expend resources here which ultimately helped many of our fellow Republicans around the country. You all should take great pride in being part of our wonderful Colorado team which I firmly believe helped deliver a Republican Congress and a Republican president.
At the state and local level we were resoundingly successful electing Heidi Ganahl as at-large CU Regent, and holding Republican majorities in the State Senate and Board of Education. These candidates ran outstanding races and provide a model of success for Colorado Republicans to pursue in the future.
With President-elect Trump in Washington, I am very optimistic about the prospects of Colorado's future. Given Colorado's tremendous natural resources, our economy stands to grow under a Trump administration with pro-growth and pro-resource development policies. I also remain confident President-elect Trump and Colorado's Congressional Republicans will deliver real healthcare reform that will lower insurance costs for working people.
After a rancorous campaign, it is time for all Coloradans to come together. We are Americans first and foremost, and I hope in the coming months we will all recognize that it is time to put partisan politics aside and work for the best interests of our country.
Again, thank you for your all of your efforts during this campaign. It has been an honor to work alongside each and every one of you to make our country a better place.
Best regards,
Steve House Chairman, Colorado Republican Committee
The state congress is about the same. Here is a summary of the state results:
Thank you.
Hopefully, we can get some work done. I hope the ‘rat house remembers the recalls.
His campaign refused to use Warner’s vote for amnesty against him, because they agreed with amnesty.
He is a Cheap Labor Express Republican.
We don’t need them.
The “act of love” branch of the party has been telling us that abandoning the rule of law and surrendering the country was the only way to win elections.
Trump has shattered that lie.
Thanks for illuminating us a bit more on Gillespie. More than enough reason to oppose his candidacy. The open borders crap has to end.
they are a blue state and they screwed trump(and the voters of Colorado) during the GOP campaign
I’ve lived a majority of my life in Colorado including now. You are so right. The CO GOP will never get a penny of my money until they all resign and turn their positions over to actual conservatives. I hope I get a letter or email from them. Can’t wait to unload.
Not completely.
Prop. 69, which would have imposed Obama-style single payer here got crushed with 80% of the vote.
Lipstick on a pig.
Gillespie, the ex-Democrat who helped usher in the GOP era of big government.
Not only didn’t CO go red, it didn’t supply enough votes to put Trump over the top in the popular vote!
smoke your dope and get a Rocky Mt. high. Vote for losers you front range feminazis!
Colorado Republicans need a house cleaning...I think Glenn would have won if he didn’t say anything about that fake Trump comment.
Dear Steve,
FOAD, you nasty RINO c&nt. I may return to the Republican Party when you and the horse you rode in on are barking in Hell.
I’m an elderly cripple. Want to get together at a gym and box a few rounds? I really want to smash you in the mouth just once.
If I have been too vague, you may contact me—in person—for clarification.
Bill Owens. Reason for the formation of the Tyranny Response Team. I still have my shirt.
Victory has a hundred fathers....
I’m registered in CO (lived there for ten years) and I am disgusted with GOP over there. There was no real primary.
It used to be a solid red state.
I understand what he is saying, but I’m not so sure it was that hard to get a win for Hillary, since so many Californians have moved there.
Excellent reply, I meant to add!
Good! I voted against it, too.
