Its been fewer than 100 years since women (though, effectively, just white women until 1964) got the right to vote in America. Susan B. Anthony is one of the most famous pioneers who fought for suffrage, and now, as chances are high that America will have its first woman president, people are honoring her work by decorating her grave with I Voted stickers.
Anthony, who is buried in Rochester, New York, died before she could see the 19th Amendment passed. One local station is even broadcasting the tribute to her grave.
People are also visiting the graves of other suffragettes and monuments to the Womens Suffrage movement, as well as highlighting those women who fought for the vote.
Today, Woodlawn Cemetery in the Bronx, New York, is also holding an event to pay tribute to the numerous suffragettes buried there, including Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Carrie Chapman Catt, as well as other notable women like Madam C.J. Walker and Celia Cruz.

“I wonder if women should even be allowed to vote, I bet 3/4s dont have a clue what is going on politcally which explains why they like Hillary, sad but true.”
Oh come on; what a stupid comment.
You must not have any conservative, intelligent woman around you .
There are plenty and they very much know what is going on
How many of these broads know that she was pro-life and against special rights for queers?
Susan B. Anthony was a Republican.
Not enough. Taking the vote away from women would result in a net loss for democrats, not Republicans.
Something tells me Susan B. would be voting for Trump today. I’m guessing she would see the corruption of Hillary and say “hell no!”.
Well, yes, conservative woman for sure, but others don’t have a clue and they vote. I truly think you should have to past both a civic test and a test on the constitution in order to vote, a single test with two sections.
Although I strongly suspect this was NOT done by pro-life women voters, it’s good to remember that SBA was opposed to abortion -— as were many of those strong and civic-minded women, America’s First-Wave feminists

How many of these vagina voters have the ability to think logically?? Their stupidity cannot be exceeded.
I hated her dollar coin
It has been the curse of the West.
To demonstrate how the “Stupid,Racist,Bigot” tribe celebrates
our right to vote ??? They decorate their heroine’s grave..
It’s not unusual for some postmenopausal women’s features to look slightly masculinized. It’s the deficiency in estrogen.
SBA was actually quite a heroic woman, willing to be everything or nothing in the eyes of her peers, uncompromising and tough..
She was pro life, but also helped the Republican party. If she could have voted it would be for Republicans. The Libs are co opting Republican icons as their own like they have Lincoln. If you ask the average lib, they think he was a Democrat.
