I know that Pickles Clinton is allegedly from Chicago, but the Cubs’ winning just seals it for me that Trump will win the election. The Cubs and Trump are the longshots who were never supposed to be there, let alone win.

Both teams scored 27 runs over the course of the 7 games. I guess the Cubs just distributed theirs better. I imagine a democrat will sue over this miscarriage of justice. With equal runs, the other team should get another chance. It's just like Bush v. Gore 16 years ago - following the rules in place rather than changing them when both teams perform equally.

Jack (his dad) and Harry were the on air personalities with the St Louis Cardinals back in the late 50s early 60s. I picked up the game from them thanks to my grandfather.
We listened on the radio on our farm four miles west of Diamond Grove, Missouri.
Very cool to look back on now.

I wanted Cleveland, but I’m happy that we got treated to what may arguably be the best World Series in a long, long time.
Hopefully this will be a new Golden Age of Baseball, and people rediscover why it’s still the best game there is.
