It would spark Revolution II if they even tried it.

Well we might like to think that would be the case, but I doubt seriously that it would happen.

I for one would fully expect the Republicans to sell the populace down the river in a skinny minute, and it would be a bi-partisan effort. If Congress did do that, do you see even the Supreme Court siding with us? Obama wouldn't support us for sure. The press certainly would not make anything of it.

At most it would get a small hue and cry, if anything at all. The majority of the population are sheeple who would rather go along to get along. A revolution requires a healthy degree of coordination, of which there is currently none in place, and getting it in place would become impossible, fast.
