Sorry for the vanity, but I wanted to get this out there in its own thread rather than go through and post it as a response on all of the threads on this subject.
A number of media outlets have gone to great lengths today to point out that the e-mails in question that led to yesterday's announcement "weren't sent to or from Hillary Clinton." I've seen variations of this theme from many of these reports.
It's important to note that this particular point is irrelevant, and the fact that there is so much focus on it tells me that the people peddling this nonsense know exactly where Clinton's legal exposure lies.
The statement the media is making here only relates to specific e-mails sent to or from an e-mail account for Huma Abedin and/or Anthony Weiner. However, this doesn't account for the fact that many of these e-mails were forwarded from other sources. Every e-mail I've seen from Wikileaks, KimDotCom, and the redacted files from the Judicial Watch lawsuit (just to cite three examples) are printed or scanned versions of e-mail correspondence that include a long e-mail chain with other senders shown for prior messages in the same chain. Some of these were clearly sent by Hillary Clinton (hrc22@clintonemail.com and hrod17@clintonemail, for example).
In other words, it's not just the content of the e-mail messages to/from Weiner or Abedin that is at issue here ... it's the evidence contained in all the other prior e-mails that show up in a chain of messages that was forwarded to one of these two mutants.
People saying this have no idea whether the emails were to or from Hillary Clinton. It’s wishful thinking at its best, aside from the fact that it’s not totally pertinent.

He says the FBI doesn’t know what’s in the emails. I call BS. They must know plenty, or this wouldn’t be happening. They doubtless have a lot more investigating to do, however, and I don’t expect answers between now and election day. Smoke, but no answers.
Wondering if this has anything to do with Obama. He communicated through her private server. Huma could have forwarded some of his messages to Weiner. That’s a huge national security issue.

You nailed it!!!! I was thinking the same thing last night when I realized that every Clinton hack on TV was peddling the same trash. And I was going nuts waiting for someone,anyone...to make your point.
The follow up argument they started late last night was that Huma was only forwarding the emails so she could print them, because the Beast wanted it that way. Guess what...that’s illegal...so now we have tens of thousands of emails housed, not only at the Beast’s home, but atHuma’s home as well.

It never made sense why Clinton had her own server until now. It was a
Hop or relay server. If those messages were all forwarded to other domains from Clintonmail.com. If you forward them enough then nobody knows where to look if they are investigating your criminal dealings.
First, how does the media know what the emails say or who they’re from? Second, human told the FBI that she forwarded her gov emails to her yahoo email

Everybody needs to rant now and again.
I can’t imagine that any privilege that might be afforded to a married couples communications would extend to cover the illegality of a third party discussed. (That said, I’m not a lawyer.)

The statement by some that none of these were from or to Hillary is patently absurd. Huma’s whole employment - both for CGI and State was predicated on her position as the primary assistant to Hillary. In fact, one can safely assume based on the likely scheme for pay to play as well as the penchant for her boss to be unapproachable and snarky that most requests to Hillary went through Huma.
It is also fair to say that Huma is now in an impossible position. She must have answered questions about where the devices containing classified emails were or when they were disposed of.... if she had these in her possession she is in big trouble. If she had these in her possession and did not realize or remember it then there is a high probability that the emails Clinton ordered to be deleted are now in the hands of the FBI (the ones they did not want anyone to see) and there may even be emails showing the cover-up.
What a mess. Everything this woman (Hillary) touches turns to mud in a hurry and the idiots who tied their star to her (aides and voters) are about to reap the consequences of laying with a pig. It was already muddy and crusty, but a whole heap of water was poured on it yesterday.
I can’t make heads or tails of wikileaks and what they are going to drop or not going to drop, but there seem to be some credible sources saying they have much more. I still don’t think they will drop any classified emails that they have though - that would place them on a different level legally.
The arrogance and stupidity of this bunch should be enough to disqualify them in a sane world from holding power, but we live in a nation full of ignorance.
If they did not pertain to Clinton, the Clinton investigation would not have been reopened...A new investigation into Huma and “Carlos” would...

I don’t think spousal privilege comes into play here. If the communication is on a device that the NYPD or FBI has already obtained, then the point is moot. Abedin and Weiner can’t be forced to testify against each other, but their communications through other means cannot be considered confidential on that basis.
When the Clintonoids state something is a fact when they have absolutely no clue whether it is true or not they are lying.
Lying is who they are.
Lying is what they do.
They have done since the Arkansas days—about forty years now.
Anyone who pays any attention to their noise is a complete idiot.
It is a waste of time to debate them, to talk to them, or to treat with anything less than total disgust and disdain.

I thought Huma had forwarded these e-mails from her secured government e-mail to her private e-mail. That doesn’t mean they did not originate with Clinton. My guess is that they did.
