I’d say it he author has broken his contract and will get sued out of his life savings.
The PROBLEM for anyone showing tape of Trump, like the old NBC footage used against him, is that Trump likely has CONTACTUAL CONTROL of it.
He can sue anyone that uses it under the copyright laws. And losing the Presidency because of illegal use could constitute a very grave loss of $$$!
According to what I’m reading in the Twitter world, this is in all likelihood a nothing burger, the author who wrote a book on Trump.

Do any of you really think that legal restrictions or contracts would keep the Clinton campaign from releasing something, or keep the media from covering it 24/7. Sure Trump might win an eventual lawsuit but who cares, the stakes are so much bigger than anyone’s personal finances. They will do anything to win.

The other thing that people need to consider when trying to judge the impact of any last minute wikileaks against Clinton or secret videos of Trump is that Audio or Video are the only thing that have any real power. There is enough in the wikileaks from the last few weeks that dozens of people in the Democrat party and in the media should lose their jobs and some should go to jail. Nothing but racist or otherwise offensive audio or video of these people will move the needle. The same goes for Trump accusers. Another dozen women saying Trump said or did XYZ doesn’t matter. We live in a media driven world. 30 seconds of someone doing doing or saying something stupid is worth more a volume of solid written evidence. We are not trying court case. We a influencing consumers.
