Michelle Obama dazzled the crowd at her final state dinner as first lady, in a floor-length rose gold chainmail gown.
It was a 'bittersweet moment' for the Obamas on Tuesday as they welcomed Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and his wife for an official visit and the final state dinner of his time in office. Barack Obama had promised that they had 'saved the best for last.' And the first lady lived up to that promise with her stunning custom-made Atelier Versace dress.
FLOTUS showed off her signature toned arms and completed the glamorous look with poker-straight locks.

“Or Da Butt (Aaaawwwwh!)”
Ha!! That works too, but there is not enough room on that stage for Manchelle’s giant bottom! She would be tossing those guys around like bowling pins....
“Speaking of sun, that ass in the gold chainmail, is big enough to spark some solar activity powerful enough to disrupt power grids, satellite communications, global positioning systems, cellphones and even automated teller machines.”
It might even block out the sun itself, sending us all into a new ice age.
I am shaken to the core by the assault on my eyes.
She's definitely gotten heftier since 2008.
Still the gown now is better than this last awful thing.....!!
Well, her first Inaugural dress looked like it had been made from a white chenille bedspread used at a second-rate Cape Cod B&B. This looks like foil custom produced from Reynolds aluminmum. Her shoes are big enough to have plugged the oil spill in 2009 and now she looks like her rump could be a cell phone tower based out of the White House. And this woman is a fashion “ICON”?
Wide load
Less than a week ago, Michelle was crying crocodile tears about Trump’s lewd comments. Then she wears this disgusting dress to a White House state dinner? Looks like the mid-section is see through, revealing a butt-hugging undergarment.
I think that gown is Gold Lamé.
Lamé is a type of fabric woven or knit with thin ribbons of metallic fiber,
If it were chainmail, moochelle wouldn't be able to stand up due to the weight.
So your grandmother was into cultural appropriation before it was cool, yes? We all know that wigs belong only to black women. Oprah taught me that only black people use paprika on deviled eggs too.
Please say that is not really her dress! Good grief!!!
This is their final state dinner - and it’s black tie, not formal.
And some of the men aren’t even wearing ties.
I hope they fumigate the White House after these people leave.
LOL! She might get applauded for ending global warming.
Eeeuuww! That dress is like a neon light display to accentuate her disgusting fat body. Dress would look better on a cow. Just barf-o-matic!
“Oprah taught me that only black people use paprika on deviled eggs too.”
OMG! I use Hungarian Smoked Paprika sprinkled on top when I make Deviled Eggs, so maybe I’m half-Black, half-Hungarian?
I’d better get one of those DNA kits from Ancestry so I can find out which half of myself is Politically Correct to hate, LOL!
*SMIRK*
Actually I do too. I agree that weaves are taking over, but not too long ago, perms was all the rage, which means straightened, with bangs over one eye.
Haha! Oprah is a dope and obviously didn't know the origin of paprika. She believes everything she grew up with originated with blacks and is used only by blacks.
