After Yom Kippur ended tonight, I tuned into WABC 770 AM radio. The Mark Levin show was on, and I was shocked to hear him, this late in the game, take yet another swipe at Donald Trump. I do not look upon Trump as an ideal candidate by any means, but Hillary is the epitome of a long laundry list of EVIL and the third party candidates are a laughable bunch of buffoons with crazy lefty ideas, not even to be considered as a joke. At this point in time, one has to go with the candidate who is, at least, the least harmful to America and hopefully, best for America. That comes out to be Trump. He is viable, unlike the bad jokes Johnson and Stein.
With the media panting at her behind and carrying her water for her, plus the outrageous voting irregularities such as dead people voting and illegals voting, the morally vacant, seriously ill, and certainly criminal Hillary has an advantage to winning the election on fraud. We cannot let her win--that would be the end of America and the beginning of a nightmare. So, that leaves Trump. He doesn't need any sniping at by so-called conservatives.
So why is Levin doing this and, at the same time, pointing out how righteous and singular he is? I don't see him as doing America any favors while patting himself on the back for being philosophically pure as he helps Hillary out by providing ammo for the libtards.
The guts of this corrupt government of ours has been ripped open big time this election. People are absolutely learning how a corrupt government operates in spades. And Wikileaks is confirming stuff we intuitively knew about Clinton etc. -- and learning some more.
A couple weeks ago it looked like Assange wouldn't deliver, but he's been true to his cause and we are deeply indebted to he and his organization.
Time to get back to following the textbook civic case and the "Rule of Law".
Trump made a big point of getting back to the rule of law in his second debate. Got a feeling that emphasis will continue in the next debate.
To hear ‘rule of law’ once again, most encouraging. To hear ‘according to our Constitution’, even more so.
But more than that, Levin's insecure about what his place in conservatism will be in Trump's world and about what conservatism will be after Trump gets through with it.
Mark has his idea and his movement. He had his moment in the Reagan administration. Now Trump comes along and upsets Levin's preconceptions and view of what conservatism is.
Trump talks in different terms that aren't Mark Levin's.So of course Levin is upset. He's worried about what will happen to his movement and about whether he'll have a place in whatever it becomes.
I can't really take him that seriously. He's just talking to hear himself talk. Angry rants, though, can actually be soothing when you know what's coming and there aren't any surprises -- and there aren't any surprises with Mark.
I also don't get the whole "agrarian" thing he keeps talking about. Was young Mark beaten up by sharecroppers or wheat-growing Grangers on the way home from school?
He illustrates the danger of being a rigid ideologue.
He is now also like Napoleon, he's histoire.
Look at these liars and frauds who didn't and don't listen to the program yet write their smears under fake names. What a disgusting and irresponsible site this has become.
The little prick is just mad that he won’t be invited to any more eGOP parties if Trump wins. That, and Levin backed Canadian Lying Cruz.
No, we wouldnt. We would be in another one of your no win scenarios with Jeb or any of the others you found acceptable like the liberal Romney in 2008. Instead of with Trump who still has the best chance to beat Hillary.
Some of Levin's picks from the past:
2000: Steve Forbes dropped out early; GWB won and lost the popular vote.
2004: GWB won but the slimest margin and he lost the Senate and gave us Obama.
2008: Fred Thompson dropped out a week after you all but endorsed him; you found Romney accpetable and said we must vote for Romney, he still lost; McCain got in but you supported him in the general and he lost.
2012: Michelle Bachman and Rick Santorum could not beat Obama. Romney could not beat Obama and lost again.
2016: Ted Cruz and all of the other Republicans would have been chewed up and spit out by this time.
All of your guys are always losers 100% of the time. So how can you know your guy this time would be being anyone or beating Hillary badly? Give Trump a chance - he will teach you how to win!
Can you tell from the context of remarks there, if Levin was actually referring to Free Republic? Could he have possibly been referring to some other online forum or website?
He is referring to and links to this thread on FR.
How did your own picks do?
So if were 1932, Levin should have remained silent, held his peace, and refrained from "smearing" some guy named Adolf Hitler?
Yeah, I guess 1933 would have been the perfect time to have spoken Levin's mind about the dangers of the Nazi Party.
Silence, holding his juvenile grudge, and non-support of Trump during the liberal-GOPe MSM onslaught is TACIT APPROVAL for the election of Frau-Fuhrer Hitlery Clinton. Damn Levin. He's "knowledgeable" in a not-so-nuanced treasonous support of a candidate that will obliterate the Republic. I have ZERO respect for such an unprincipled "constitutional" hypocrite.
Izzat so?
Well isn't that interesting. He's proven me right, finally.
Just so folks don't think I'm lying about Mark's nasty behavior the last time he was here, click on this Levin show thread from 24 May 2016 and start reading at the top. Mark steps in early in the thread and begins ripping Freepers one by one:
Disgusting that Levin would smear FR like that when he NEVER engages his listeners on social media or here. If he did that find out WHY his former listeners are so upset with him. But apparently he’s not interested at all in gathering those facts. Just has time to smear the little people on his fb page. How elitist.
RE:114
Yeah. I was on that thread with the “not-so-great” one.
His show used to be never missed. Now it’s never listen to....
Can’t believe he treated me like that.
That was interesting, thanks.
You are comparing Trump to Hitler? I don’t understand freepers who should be thoughtful, instead spluttering with red eyed hatred if someone doesn’t see things just quite the way they do. I like Levin. He went off on a tangent with Trump but he will get over it, unlike Beck.
Don’t know WHAT the hell you’re talking about, but...(is English your first language?)
Thanks.
It's easy to believe because it's true.
Levin has sold out. His disgraceful arrogance, hubris, and lack of principle makes him an enabler of Hillary. I hope he and Paul Ryan will be very happy in the GOPe smoking lounge, giggling about how that screwed conservatives, YES AND THE CONSTITUTION!
Hey, thanks a lot, Mark. Way to stab us all in the back. REPEATEDLY.
