A webcam trained on a nest of eagle chicks in the woods of Michigan also catches a glimpse of something else in the wild.
Bigfoot, that mysteriously unkempt and anti-social gentlemen of the woodlands, has again made an appearance on camera in his trademark blurry yet intriguing style.
This time the legendary cryptid has apparently been captured on the CarbonTV Eagle Cam in northern Michigan. The live webcam is trained on a bald eagle nest 100 feet (30 meters) above the ground near the Platte River State Fish Hatchery.
As you can see in the video above, a dark lumbering figure walks into frame about 10 seconds into the clip. The shadowy silhouette of something clearly bipedal makes its way through the stand of trees before walking out of frame.
While the creature appears to fit the traditional description of Bigfoot, it also could pretty easily be explained as a bear or a human. Because the camera is capturing the forest floor looking down from 100 feet up, the perspective is a little screwy and it's hard to get much clarity.
Local media reported the story Wednesday, but the footage was actually shot in the spring of 2016. It was posted to YouTube earlier in the year but then taken down due to a copyright claim by CarbonTV, which then posted the clip on its own account in September.
This sighting is about on par with other inconclusive bits of evidence that Sasquatch exists, like the few seconds of something hairy captured in Sequoia National Park earlier this year.
Check it out for yourself and see what you think. One thing is for sure, though: those bald eagle chicks are ridiculously adorable.
I don’t remember that one. I like listening to Art Bell’s old shows; but you have to take some of the guests with a big grain of salt! I’ll have to look for that one.
One person that you hear on radio shows/podcasts like this whom I believe is really trying to be disciplined in his research is David Paulides - he’s done a lot of work on Bigfoot.

We need to send the “Finding Bigfoot” team out there so they can conduct their usual comprehensive investigation of this sighting. Bobo will stand next to a tree so they can get an idea of the height of the Sasquatch, then the team will camp in the forest for one night to see if Bigfoot wanders by that particular spot, as opposed to anywhere else in the 300,000 acre forest where they’re camping. Sometime during the night, they’ll hear a twig snap in the distance and exclaim: “that’s a Squatch!”

I remember a story I read long ago - the story must have come originally from sometime in the mid to late 1800’s - about a woman who had children, and told a story of a Bigfoot family whose mother brought their children to play with the human kids occasionally. There was a sense of the mothers both being a little respectfully ‘standoff-ish’, while the kids played together.
I wish I could find that again...

I’d like to believe, but you’d think one of them would get hit by a car and killed. You;d think a forest fire would send one into an area he could be filmed more than a blob.

Have you ever wandered around the Siskyou mountains, by any chance?
I don’t know.
There was a story from the 1960s or 1970’s from right here in Maryland, where a woman was driving on one of the highways - I think it was near Laurel, but I’m not sure - and saw something corresponding to ‘bigfoot’ come out of the woods near the road.
I don’t think I’m a very credulous person, but, again, it just seems to me that there might be something to this. There are just too many stories, going back over so much time.
On the other hand, the most credible person I’ve read on the subject of UFOs is Jacques Vallee; and he seemed to believe that there was some element of the ‘psychological’ going on in the stories of UFO; and perhaps that could be the explanation for Bigfoot stories, as well.
Eventually, we’ll know. In the meantime, it’s fun and very thought-provoking, no?
Aw, poor Bigfoot had never been in the forest before, maybe he lost his shoes. Having some trouble moving about naturally. Must be a city Bigfoot.

In my case four dead bears and two human bodies.
I know Bobo enough to say hi and chat. I will try and track him down tomorrow and see what he thinks of this sighting.

But bears and human be-ans are far more numerous than what we can glean are the number of possible Bigfeet, from the stories available to us ;-)

I live in Reno and Bobo hangs out here often. I first met him in N. Kalifornia where he got started hunting “squatchs”.
I don’t know where those mountains are, so I have to say I am not sure.
I have been on 5/6 bear hunts with my husband, Wyoming, Montana, The others in Canada. Saw bears no Big Foot. I have also been deer hunting with him for years, New Mexico, Colorado, Michigan, Texas, Mexico, and Canada, never saw Big Foot. Never had a guide from those areas ever mention Big Foot.
We have cattle in Texas, a cow dies and they get eaten up pretty quick, bones stay for a while be eventually nothing is left.
I have to say I am a skeptic.
