It's the Kaepernick Effect, stupid.
The alarming fall in NFL TV ratings this season is partly because of fan anger over on-field protests by Colin Kaepernick and other players of the American flag/national anthem, according to pollster Rasmussen Reports.

CBS and Sporting News admitting it’s Kaepernick?
Send another case of Depends over to NFL Headquarters.
Well, this is GREAT news, IMHO. Hopefully the NFL will understand that there are consequences to idiocy.
Will the NFL go the way of Target? Next stop Apple.
We had an idiot host on our local sports radio trying to dismiss this poll result, so I turned him off, too!
#BoycottNFL
I haven’t watched a single game and I’m surprised at how little I miss it! The NFL has been dying (to me) for a while, it’s now completely dead to me.
And the raised fist black supremacy gag is a real selling point as well.
Perhaps Obama can decree that Nielsen has to count the viewers who aren’t watching as if they were still watching.
Problem solved.
I watched the last 8 minutes of one NFL game this season...that’s all.
The toothless/Leftist owners should have fired their azzes and told them to take their protests home with their last pay checks. We are only watching the Cowboys games this year because they wanted to honor the five assassinated Dallas police officers with a little patch on their helmets and that worm, Goodell, wouldn’t allow it.
Too many liberal turds in the USA punch bowl.
I predict NFL does nothing. The SJW’s that run it will take the loss, hunker down and blame it on something else, just like Target.
Will the NFL go the way of Target? Next stop Apple Computer.
The NFL could fix this problem today by simply issuing the following directive:
Players shall stand for the National Anthem or they will sit out the game without pay.
The Commissioner taking out Brady for a month didn’t help.
“...it’s now completely dead to me.”
Me, too. Stopped watching the NFL (MLB, NHL and NBA, too)since 1992. Haven’t missed it one bit, and I take a certain amount of personal pride and satisfaction in that fact.
Piss on all of them. I have better things to do than waste my time watching a bunch of ignorant, self-entitled, over-paid terds play a kid’s game.
This happened to me with professional baseball with the player’s strike.
You’re going to upset Rush. He gives Apple thousands of dollars of free advertising.
Continue boycotting, then boycott the NBA and NCAA for their antics in Indiana and North Carolina.
I am disappointed that there aren’t some patriotic players who don’t see fit to give a certain ungrateful someone a blanket party...
