The routine "Taco Tuesday" just jumped up a notch.
As it happens every year, Oct. 4 is firmly penciled in as National Taco Day. What makes this annual celebration ever tastier this go around is that it just happens to fall on the day of the week famously referred to as "Taco Tuesday."
Whether you plan to satisfy your cravings at a beloved taco truck or dine-in at the neighborhood taqueria, a few establishments will be celebrating with you.
On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is offering its spread of mini tacos for a price of just two quarters, according to its Twitter page.
Chipotle Mexican Grill joined in the festivities by rolling out chorizo, a spicy pork sausage, to its menu nationwide, CNBC reported.
While you treat yourself Tuesday, just know that you certainly won't be alone.
The National Taco Day website estimates that Americans downed over 4.5 billion tacos in 2015. Putting that number into astronomical proportion, 4.5 billion tacos lined up would reach to the moon and back.
The guy in the top looks a lot like Patrick Duffy from “Dallas”
Yes, cultural appropriation also racist, nationalist, and other accusations against the gringos that eat them or make a profit from selling tacos.
Too bad hardly any place out there makes good tacos these days.
Certainly none of the fast food places make any.
That is PD.
It’s great that he worked his way up from Taco Bell to becoming an oil baron with a penchant for vivid dreams.
Just shows what happen in America with a dream and some hard work. ;)
+1
This reminds me of the movie Judge Dredd when he wakes up in the future.
My wife makes the best tacos..
The local Mexican place has a great Taco Tuesday special, six different varieties of taco, a dollar each. Six of them make a big meal. No idea if they’re doing anything special tonight, I didn’t realize today was anything in particular and didn’t go.
I remember those prices, back when we were teenagers. And the hot sauce came in those little tubs you had to peel the foil top off of.
“Enough cultural appropriation!”
What about National Haggis Day?
“That is PD.”
-—Is it really? I thought it looked like him but wasn’t sure
“Its great that he worked his way up from Taco Bell to becoming an oil baron with a penchant for vivid dreams.”
-—Don’t for the shower scene lol
that should be “forget”

—I wonder when that commercial was made? Had to have been in very early 70’s. He was in Man From Atlantis before Dallas and that was around 78/79
