What is a good email service? Don't say GMail...

I’m thinking it’s time to move on from Yahoo, too. I gave up using their messenger because it crashes all the time and the email is so slow anymore it’s crazy!

I use Mailbird and it works fine. Although there are some features I wish it would improve.

I have my own domain name and use
Rackspace for my email. I haven't had any problems in the year or so I've had their service but you probably need your own domain name to use this service.

Years ago, I set up my primary email address separate from my ISP so it would be portable, in the event that I changed providers. I chose Gmail. I can’t really criticize the service, it’s not been a problem. But, I’m certain my emails are scanned due to ad content that pops up related to it. That bothers me. But, I’ve got that email address out there and changing it would be a big hassle, I’ve already gone through that before. So, I endure it. I also refuse to click any ad whatsoever. Google can go (expletive deleted) themselves as far as making any money off of me.

Im thinking its time to move on from Yahoo, too. I gave up using their messenger because it crashes all the time and the email is so slow anymore its crazy! Not to mention that someone just posted an article stating how Yahoo scanned all customers' incoming mail at the behest of the NSA, without probable cause or warrant.
