(KRON) — You won’t find the “Peeper Creeper” Halloween costume in the Home Depot stores in Canada as was originally planned.
The company pulled the almost $30 item from stores after someone complained that it made light of voyeurism, which is a crime.
The “Scary Peeper Creeper” costume features a hooded man peering through a window.

Just as an aside. I went to a supermarket and in the aisle for Kosher meals at the top of one shelf they had Catholic votive candles, the kind with Mary or Jesus on them. I mentioned it to the store manager and he just looked at me and said “You have a problem with that” - I told him yeah, I’m Jewish but not that I’m offended I just thought it out of place is all. They’re still there.
