A South Florida man is suing the owner of a popular restaurant chain after he claims a racial slur was printed twice on his receipt at a Miami Beach eatery.
The man, Frantz Leger, who is black, says he ate at Los Perros on Alton Road on July 2 and when he received his receipt, a racial slur printed on it, not once, but twice in the order number and table number sections.
According to the complaint, Leger claims the restaurant told him their system must have auto-corrected his name to the racial slur. But, the suit alleges that after he called the restaurant to complain, the waiter resigned.
The lawsuit claims the restaurant discriminated against Leger and violated civil rights statutes.
A man accused of stealing a car with a baby inside in North Lauderdale and stealing a purse from a woman at a Dania Beach gas station has been arrested. NBC 6 reached the owner of Los Perros Friday but he has so far declined to comment.
A Sonic “allegedly” did the same thing. Folks probably saw this story already but here it is again.
Maybe he famed it.
I can’t read that. What does it say?
Same guy?
Faked not famed
“A man accused of stealing a car with a baby inside in North Lauderdale and stealing a purse from a woman”
Huh? So the same guy stole a car the same day he was called a nagger?
They blurred it at the newspaper, must have been an epithet.
I can’t read it either, but can probably guess that “Leger” was altered into some vague form of “nigger.”
This is how our race discussion goes in America.
A guy may have had a disparaging word printed on a rec’t given to him.
OMG - put it on the news!
Pathetic.
Guy’s name is “Leger.” Not too hard to figure out.
So pathetic. Hate this country right now really do.
False flag operation?
The customer was served, just like any other customer. This is what is required by federal law. So, how much latitude do businesses have to express a worldview which members of these "special groups" might find offensive, just so long as they get served? An open-ended allowance for these groups to define "discrimination" as anything they want is unimaginably horrific.
His name is Leger. What could auto correct do to that?
Well in this case it would have to be a false receipt op
Legerdemain?
Frantz Leger
A restaurant named “The Dogs”? Not gonna eat there anyway.
He certainly didn’t make out very well in the looks lottery. (not that it’s his fault, although he could get a shave, a haircut and wear a tie)
