In this W.Va. coal town, there’s little debate over presidential race

WHARTON, W.Va. In the coal community of Clinton Camp, not many are in Clintons camp.
Nobody likes Hillary around here, said 77-year-old retired coal miner Darrell Bower, who was watering his lawn last week. Everybody in my family and everyone I know is going to vote for Trump.
Millions of Americans are expected to tune in tonight to the first presidential debate between Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump, the least-liked presidential candidates ever.
In Clinton Camp, an unincorporated area of Wharton where the homes were constructed as a coal camp in the late 1940s, not much indecision over the presidential race remains, if it ever existed.
As with the majority of West Virginians, the pick here in this struggling coal community is Trump.

This is an example of traditional flyover American community that feels abandoned by Clinton and the political party of their forbearers. Out of desperation they will for Trump. This is why tonight's debate and the subsequent election is so important in bringing hope and opportunity back to the hinterlands.

How is Trump one of the least-liked candidates ever when he defeated 16 other contenders and won more primary votes than any Republican in history?
To: Sasparilla
"Kicked to the curb is More precise."
I'd say "kicked in the face" is more accurate.
Obama, Bill and Hillary have mocked "coal people" mercilessly.
We're going to put you out of business.
The coal industry is dying.
You'll have to go find something else to do, besides mine that dirty fuel source that is ruining mother earth, etc.

Because the liberals in the media, in the New York/Washington axis, have decreed that he is the least liked candidate in history.

Least liked in the MSM, they mean.

West Virginians expressed their opinion of Hillary Clinton during her visit. From a friend of a friend the folks "saluting" Hillary were lined up on the sidewalk.
Here's a picture of one indicating she's number "one". I doubt she'll ever be back. FWIW, Obama never campaigned in WV.

These folks live in the heart of UMWA country. They are yellow dog democrats. I would bet many still have pictures of FDR and JFK sitting on their mantels. Trump's wealth and "up east persona" does not sit well in rural areas of many states. The purpose of the article was to show their angst with Clinton in the coming election and how Trump is gaining support despite not being well liked.

How long did they search to find a distressed coal town with the name of Clinton in it?????
To: Dilbert San Diego
Wouldn’t be hard. Just start with all the towns with “Clinton” in the name (from Google Maps or the index of an atlas). Filter for the ones in WV, KY, PA, OH or WY. Probably 5-10 total, maybe 20 max. Many of these will be coal towns. Any that are coal towns will be distressed. Half an hour tops.

But they voted for Obama twice. Your absolute ignorance is astounding!!! How can you even know to breath?!?!?! Not only has WV NOT voted for a RAT for POTUS since 1996, in 2012 not one of its 55 counties voted for Zer0! Even among the RATS in WV, in the 2012 Dem. primary, Zer0 defeated a convicted and imprisoned felon by less than 18%

Trump is going to sweep the Rust Belt this November. He's taken the Democrat message on trade and jobs and put it on steroids. Meanwhile, the Democrats have gotten completely in bed with their Globalist masters and have abandoned the working man they purport to represent.
