Newly announced Saturday Night Live cast member Melissa Villaseñor the first Latina cast member in the shows four-decade history has come under fire for apparently deleting thousands of tweets from her social media account that critics have deemed racist. The tweets from the 28-year-old Mexican-American comedian who joined the cast of NBCs long-running sketch show earlier this month were first noticed by Grist writer Aura Bogado, who pointed them out on Twitter.

Is that still on the air?
I would assume Horatio Sanz was the first SNL cast member, no?
Hasn’t there been a ton of latin American women on that show ?
Read the article.
The woman who took the pictures of the tweets is a piece of ####. The comedian is a piece of ####. The black girl complaining about the black joke is a piece of ####. SNL is a piece of ####.
Someone call a plumber.
I guess she’s a ‘funny Latina’ as opposed to a wise one. From her tweets it seems she’s afraid of Mexican bikers. What a racist!

The first Latino? I believe so. Now he’s just an A Hole.
Saw him on the primetime Match Game hosted by Alec Baldwin. They asked a Trump fill in the blank question and Horatio used the opportunity to call Trump every name in the Book.
Meanwhile, Rosie O’Donnell was on the same Panel of Celebrity Guests and just gave a semi funny onw work answer.
Who are these all powerful critics?
“””Coworker at forever 21 dates black guys and she said she will set me up on a blind date for valentines, I said yes but Im scared, a 2011 message read.””””
What’s racist about this?
White Latina
Horation Sanz?
I’m offended by the word “Latina.” Why are Hispanic women allowed to still be feminine, but the rest of us are required to embrace masculine titles like “actor” instead of “actress,” “flight attendant” instead of “stewardess,” etc.? Liberals have engineered the language to express shame of femininity, but Latino women still get to be Latinas? That’s racist!
True. I forgot we have to first divide us up into groups and then further subdivide and subdivide again after that. What a world we live in.
Well, the non-gender-specific Latinx (pronounced “Latin-ex”, not “Latinks”) is certainly not better.
Speaking as a deplorable, misogynistic racist, I say let’s let this slide. Maybe the Left can loosen up its corn hole a little bit when it’s one of its own, and that’s a start.
Plus I want to see some of those tweets. Racist humor is the second-funniest humor, next to fart sounds. :-)
I’m all for that kind of subdivision. Let’s keep going until we get to individuals.
