This reminds me of how funny Tim Conway Jr is. On Friday, before the huge Dodger celebration of the legendary Vin Scully, his very last broadcast of a home game, 67 or so years of doing it, Tim Conway on KFI radio asked his listeners to phone in and tell on air any personal run-ins they could remember with the amazing broadcaster.

After the break, he began taking the calls. His first call was a guy who told a story of how he was in the parking lot when all of a sudden an old dude comes barreling out and smashes into the front of his car, and never apologized. And who was it but Vin Scullly.

Tim got the guy off the air pretty quickly and then announced to his audience, “Maybe I didn’t make myself clear. This is probably not the time to call in with your “Vin Scully is an a hole” stories.”

Tim just cracks me up. And of course his sidekick pipes in with “To be fair, Tim, you DID say run-ins with Vin...”
