Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by seven points among likely voters in a head-to-head matchup, according to a new McClatchy-Marist poll released Friday morning.
When third party candidates are added to the question, Clinton leads Trump by six points, 45-39, among likely voters, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 10 points and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at four points.
The last national McClatchy-Marist poll released in early August did not survey likely voters and instead polled a broader pool of registered voters. In that poll, Clinton led Trump among registered voters by 15 points, 48-33.
Look at the internals. You will find what’s going on.
Just another poll to ramp up Hillary’s lead on RCP. Like it or not, many use RCP as a Readers’ Digest summary of the election and vote accordingly. All most are doing here is preaching to the choir.
This is a contrived outcome poll. What is happening is a tidal wave for Trump. “Americans love a winner. They cannot tolerate a loser”. They want to be on the winning side!! So this crap is printed up to keep people thinking she might have a chance. It is a narrative. It is worthless.
I say don’t discount the polls or anything else. We can’t let complacency or confidence slow us down from getting Trump elected.
If Hillary were up 7 nationally, she would not be losing in Ohio, Iowa, and Nevada. Or tied in Maine, Colorado and Florida. Statistically impossible.
Obama won all these states in 2012 and beat Romney by only 3 points.
That video with her saying people shouldn’t have the right to work and then her outburst would make a great AD. Most people are not union thugs so would not know what she is talking about.
Well, the libs ought be dancing instead of rioting in the streets.
Also, national polls don’t mean anything — the actual election is state by state, that is how the EVs count.
And in battleground states the polls are tight.
The main conclusion or bottom line is to make sure that everyone gets out there and votes.
That’s a standard screening question and is done because young males are the most difficult demographic to reach.
If that person is not available, they interview the person who is available and does not fit into a quota cell that is open.
Breitbart-Gravis just released a new national poll showing Hillary up 4 over Trump, 44-40.
Trump, I don’t believe, has ever led in this poll. Last time it was 43-40 I think.
Steal it right in front of God and everybody, then look us in the eye and say: "What are you going to do about it? Hunh? Hunh?", just like any schoolyard bully.

True. But notice they want you to be aware that their last poll was a “broader pool of registered voters” while this one is of likely voters, wanting you to believe she’s exactly where she was in August instead of having you believe Trump has advanced.
WoW! Wasn’t this convenient .. right after Hillary is on the TV SCREAMING SHE NEEDS TO BE 50% AHEAD OF TRUMP.
Hmmmm ..?? Looks like they could only find 7% to take the bait.
2. Page 2 states survey population was comprised of 36% DEMOCRAT and 27% REPUBLICAN which is a 9% built in bias.
