Disturbing photos have emerged of a man who appears to be dragging a little girl by her hair in Walmart.
Erika Burch, was shopping when she spotted the man, who she says, had the child's hair 'wrapped around the buggy' as he dragged her down the aisles.
Burch said the child was pleading for the man to stop.

The application of common sense says that if this kind of thing is going on in public, something far more serious is going on in private.
This is obvious red-flag behavior. If the man don’t want the nanny state up his ass, he shouldn’t be delivering them an engraved invitation.
No, that would be the work of a fainting flower busybody who overreacted.
Re-read the comment just above yours by thoughtomator. Says it all, I don’t need to repeat it.
Are you feeling guilty? Look, what this guy did is flat out wrong. If you are doing the same or similar, you are also wrong. Defending abuse, facilitating it, dismissing it, is wrong. Disciplining a kid is one thing, but what we saw in the picture and report is beyond that, deserves action, investigation. Is that all he does to her, what else occurs?
the man is either a brute or just totally a stupid idiot...I hope he gets publically shamed...
let me try pulling your hair and then tell me that its not abuse....
I thought the same thing. He has her hair trapped between his hand and the handle. From what I’ve read elsewhere, she was causing him quite a bit of grief in the store. She is able to walk beside him and it would only be painful if she tried to run away from him again. I’ll admit that I would not have chosen this method of keeping her in check but I don’t think he needs to be arrested nor does she need to be in child protective services. I’m guessing if he had continued to let her run the store, causing other customers grief, he would have gotten an earful for that, too. This is not abuse. This is unorthodox discipline.
Parents are expected to leave stores if their kids act up because you’re not allowed to discipline in public anymore. I try really hard to avoid shopping with any of my kids. If I have to take them with me it means I’m desperate to get to the store and I have no other options for help. I can’t just leave and come again another time. Who has time for that?
please don't even pretend that this is common sense or common standards or common practice...
but just let a bunch of us pull your hair to find out....
You’re right her hair wasn’t “tied”to the handle he was holding it as he gripped the handle. It’s a distinction without a difference though; it’s the same effect, still dragging a little girl by the hair. If you want to play word games with that find someone else interested in such lunacy.
Forget CPS, to heck with them. Anyone with a functioning brain and a conscience can see from the photos that what he did isn’t right, that it was abuse.
Yeah I know there are much more extreme cases of abuse but that doesn’t mean this wasn’t another case. Again, forget CPS, they aren’t necessary. All he needs and deserves is a trial by his peers who, if they have the aforementioned brain and conscience, after seeing these photos, would do the right thing and issue a verdict of “guilty of child abuse”.
No it doesn't, that is a non sequitur. Far more likely is a case where the father just ignores her and lets her run rampant. That's why she shows no discipline when they are out in public.
Abused children are frightened of their abuser, and will not make a spectacle out in public.
This is obvious red-flag behavior. If the man dont want the nanny state up his ass, he shouldnt be delivering them an engraved invitation.
It is sufficiently abnormal that the man should be advised not to do it, preferably by a local police officer with common sense enough to realize the man is likely foolish, but not necessarily dangerous to the child.
I've seen worse, and nothing bad ever came of it. I've seen women that would smack a child so hard the child would fall down, and the child grew up to be well adjusted and still loving their mother.
If you think that what this man has done is bad, you probably don't know many poor blacks or poor whites.
People nowadays are way too mollycoddled and pampered compared to what came before.
Read my rebuttal to it.
“People of Wal Mart. No one ever thinks to call the police. Just take pictures and post to social media. “
Did it ever occur to you to read the article?
I hope this type of treatment doesn't make the little girl grow to hate her father, if he's her father, and run off and get pregnant at age 15 just to find some male to love her...
love should not hurt...
“Why wasnt police or someone there quickly to stop this outrage? “
Why didn’t you read the article?
“My husband would not have called the police on this man. He would have called an ambulance and then prepared the man for his trip to the hospital.”
LOL! How many years is your ol’ man in for?
Sometimes kids learn all the tricks and decide to have a showdown in public. A little trick like that, that surprised the child and maded her rethink her rebellion, is a wonderful tool. She was going to embarrass dad, but it didn't work.
To put it more succinctly: “Man does stupid thing, wins stupid prize.”
Sowing and reaping.
“Good for your Mr. You dont hurt little girls. If a child needs discipline, take the child home for a spanking.”
Spanking hurts a little girl more than what was in the photos ...
“She was going to embarrass dad, but it didn’t work.”

I’d say being shamed & scorned worldwide and being investigated by several agencies might cause a wee bit of embarrassment. And that’s even without factoring in any charges that may come of it.
