Albert was curious, in fact so curious that it took the world a long time to find out about it. But Einsteins private letters indicate that he had no less than 10 mistresses. He was married twice (once to his cousin), he cheated on both of his wives with at least 10 different women. Though in his defense, he presented his first wife with a list of rules, one of which was expect neither intimacy nor fidelity. Was this the same curiosity that drove him to make some of the most amazing scientific discoveries of all time. Some say yes and some say no; but his appetite for new discoveries and conquests was insatiable.
Consider that before Einstein finally settled on own his cousin Elsa, he apparently almost married her 22-year-old daughter instead (Elsa was his first cousin through his mothers side AND second cousin through his fathers side). He also became involved with Elsas sister when they were younger, which he defended in a letter to Elsa by pointing out You cant blame me; we were young and she was willing......

The top one was his cousin whom he married, or just lived together with. She was supposedly more of a housekeeper/cook/friend than anything else. He still messed around. I think he made it clear to her before the marriage that that was how he wanted it to be.
