By the time Amber Swink was strapped into a restraint chair in an isolation cell, she had already been pepper-sprayed once.
Barely able to open her eyes as she struggled inside a seven-point harness at the Montgomery County Jail in Dayton, Ohio, Swink could hear deputies laughing.
Moments later, for reasons the 25-year-old said she still doesnt understand, Sgt. Judith L. Sealey approached the chair and fired a burst of pepper spray into Swinks face at point-blank range.
Swink had been arrested during a night of heavy drinking at her home that evening. Swink admits that she was still somewhat intoxicated at the time but recalled that the pain was nearly unbearable as her face was coated with oleoresin capsicum.

.........I agree with the attorney Brannen.
“Late Tuesday, Swink filed a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Ohio, accusing members of the sheriffs department of using excessive force ‘that amounted to torture.’ The filing also alleges that department officials orchestrated a coverup aimed at destroying evidence of the incident.”
She might win this. It’s never the original crime; it’s the cover-up that later bites you in the arse!
Right, Hillary? *SMIRK*
However, what was she doing AT HOME that the cops needed to be called to her house and drag her to jail? Did I miss that part? Was she beating up her husband/boyfriend? Did her kids call this in as she was out of control? Was she blasting off a few shotgun rounds, because Joe Biden told her to? I need more DETAILS before I go all, ‘King Solomon’ on her @ss.
This article IS from the Washington Compost, you know! Trust But Verify.
Ah, memories of my 20s when the party never ended. I don't recall any cops being involved though.
White girl got sprayed, cop looks well “tanned” in the video. Certainly much darker than the white cops that show up later.
The penalty is up to, and including death.

Oh, all right then. It was just a legitimate form of slavery reparations. /s
That is blatant. No reason at all for that.
Now, CAPTAIN Lardass Sealey.
This is how Cankles spent her time off from the campaign trail?
In what context is it okay for any officer to do this to someone?
I think I saw that movie with Queen Latifah and Rene Zellweger.
“Judith Sealey, the cop with the pepper spray is black, the restrained woman white. “
Too bad for her there’s video. Now we’ll see who spends more time in restraints.
The fact that multiple officers participated in the cover up demonstrates that it WAS egregious.
Maybe the Pepper Spray expiration date was coming up soon.
Don’t want to waste it????
This is one thing that makes my blood boil - something similar happened to me 34 years ago. I’m to the point where I can almost let it go but if it happens to one of my kids, the nation will know about any corrective action I take.
