Alot of flop sweat in this article from Forbes. I went to the garbage dump (DemocraticUnderground) to see what the looney left was saying about Hillary's collapse at the 9/11 service today. The Dummies are offering comments about how groomsmen are known to faint at weddings etc. and they linked to this article at Forbes as "solid proof" as in "the science is settled." In particular, the Dummies were adamant that a "hard right" publication like Forbes offers true proof that Hillary's collapse was nothing to see - move along.

So - if anyone has a moment, can you enlighten me re Forbes? Doesn't seem hard right to me - is it just this looney journalist at Forbes or is all of Forbes lefty now?

In answer to the question can heat cause one to pass out, I can state in the affirmative, but with a cadre of medical personnel, and others about her she would have been appropriately prepared for such heat as is required to cause such an event.

Certain precautions would have made this situation a non happening. Appropriate dress. Salt pills. Hydration. Other means addressed by appropriately licensed medical professionals such as are on tour with her.

Isn’t it amazing she’s the only one reported to have passed out due the heat?

As Hillary recuperates from her latest medical emergency:

Barely in the 80’s and a mere 45% humidity?

She did not have heat issues.

Her meds need to be adjusted....

It takes a lack of water in your system, plus hours in the sun, before your going to faint from the Su.

Unless you have a weakened health or are living on Venus, it’s not going to take the short length of time it took her to faint.

MS patients often have an over sensitive response to heat.
Illiarily got in trouble during the Gay Pride day parade in NY City, Jun 27, 2016 earlier this year. In a few minutes she was in trouble. (1)

Then, today at the 911 ceremony, she had even worse reactions to only a mild temperature.

Before is a medical look to how Sensitivity to Heat can quickly disrupt the quality of life for patients with MS.
Sensitivity to heat can disrupt the quality of life for people living with MS.

Here’s how to keep your cool. Heat intolerance is a common issue for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). Not only are they in general more sensitive to heat, but heat can also make their MS symptoms considerably worse. MS-related heat intolerance occurs because the myelin protective covering around the nerves in the brain is damaged and doesn’t function properly when the body is overheated, says Jack Burks, MD, chief medical officer of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.

“The nerve impulses cannot travel efficiently, and fatigue sets in,” Dr. Burks explains. “The dangers of heat intolerance might include a temporary decrease in balance, strength, feeling, or vision, which could lead to falls and other problems,” he says. The best way to avoid a temporary increase in MS symptoms related to heat intolerance is to avoid overheating in the first place.

But if you do feel overheated, it’s important to take steps to cool yourself down.

Try the following strategies to see what works for you: Ice Can Be Nice Lisa Emrich, 46, a musician and music instructor from northern Virginia, uses ice to cool down. She says that when she becomes overheated, she has trouble thinking and speaking clearly, and sometimes has difficulty walking.

There have been times my husband and I are outside working in the yard and everything is okay, until suddenly I get overheated and have to ask him to help me inside
because my legs have difficulty moving,” she says.

“Ice is one of my favorite ways to cool down — it can be used in so many ways. On the inside of the wrist is nice, or on the back of the neck, your forehead, or the middle of the chest. If it’s a large ice pack, I like to hold it on the front of my body and try to cool off quickly.”

Stop it you deniers!

Hillary fainted, NOT from being "overheated" but from the over abundance of CO2 on Erf, caused by man-made Global WarmingTM

I think I came close to passing out once when playing basketball for hours in triple digit heat.

But never while standing around in the shade in 70 degree weather.

Yes, but I doubt this was true in Hillary’s case. Why didn’t she remove her jacket? And she didn’t seem to be perspiring.

Yes, it is possible but seems to me that the temperature has a to be quite high or the individual is has some medical conditions.

It’s a judgement issue, if nothing else. Protocols should’ve been in place to get her to a hospital to be checked out.
