DrudgeReport.coSomething HUGE about to hit DRUDGE - famous BACK-TICK mark displayed..!
DrudgeReport.co ^ | Sept 8th, 2016 | DrudgeReport.co me

The photos Drudge uses often contain riddles, clues or inside jokes.

Use of a single BACK-TICK mark in the extreme upper-left corner of his site traditionally indicates to long-time fans that a HUGE STORY is about to hit.

When it does hit, in every case a flashing siren accompanies the headline, which is often in a huge, red font.

Freepers:

What could this impending news BE..?

Take your guesses, please.

The breaks are for the banner you aren’t seeing with your adblocker. No breaks between the grave mark and banner.

Knowing you are a connoisseur of conspiracies - and after your posts here this is beyond rebuttal - Drudge posted the accent grave to induce you to spill - which you have been doing.

We’ve been had?

It's been fun though. Imagine going back in time, before the internet, and telling people that a little grave mark would cause so much excitement. That and people use hand held devices to share pictures of puppies and kitties.

On November 8, you aren't electing a president, but choosing electors pledged to a party's nominees.

If a candidate withdraws or dies, the national committee of the party would send registered letters to the party's electors in the Electoral College. This could be done all the way up to December 19, the day that the Electoral College votes.

This was done in 1872 when the Democratic presidential nominee died shortly after the November election. The DNC sent letters to its electors explaining the new ticket. It was only a formality because Grant and the Republicans had won in a landslide.

I'm tired and I need to get up at 4:30 tomorrow morning to go to work. Do I go to sleep or do I keep hitting refresh on the Drudge Report?

If I do go to sleep, I will dream of back ticks.

The (most important) Presidential election of our time, is in exactly 2 months from today.

Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid to endorse Trump.

Vladimir Putin endorses Gary Johnson.

John Kerry endorses himself... and announces that he served in Vietnam.

Al Gore claims that global warming is responsible for his loss to Bush, and commences lawsuit to be installed as President.

Mexico pays $5 billion for Trump’s wall, hoping for a prepayment discount. He also offers to mow the White House lawn and wash the presidential limousine.

“. And if I were not the candidate, if I were not the nominee, if I were just a concerned citizen, I’d be out here doing everything I could to sound the alarm about someone like Donald Trump getting anywhere near the White House.”

When I heard this today during the press conference, I thought it was an odd thing to say, interesting at least. To make her point, all she had to say was if I weren’t running. Instead she referenced, candidate, nominee, just a concerned citizen.
