Just Wondering...
it wasn’t a debate. It was a forum with Matt Lauer and each of them on with him separately. I did not watch.
If somebody is willing to risk their life or limbs to serve the country, that should be allowed.
Matt Lauer is the best Reince Priebus could negotiate?
What a loser dickhead.
I got distracted. Not difficult when I am trying not to listen to Cankles, and when I caught back up, what you said is what I thought I saw.
.... He had his statistics queued up and ready use them in an effort to discredit Trump....
Blatantly obvious that Matt Liar knew the questions and his attacks were researched based on them.
Lauer and company undoubtedly hand picked these so called “military” folks to ask questions approved by Matt’s staff in advance.
The corruption of the US media is an embarrassment worldwide.
Did Maddow declare Harpy the winner before or after the debate?
Hillary tried to sound tough, but came across as very angry. Obviously working hard to recite her canned answers.
First couple questions to Hillary from Lauer and the audience concerning her email were rough. Hillary looked and sounded defensive, like she was fighting the urge to bellow and throw things.
Trump was cool as a cucumber. Great demeanor and voice. He could have handled questions more deftly, but the questions were stacked against him, and he had to debate Lauer who kept interrupting. Lauer had Trump tweets ready to bolster the stacked questions.
The other problem was Trump was asked a few questions on very complex questions, things that can’t be answered in a couple of minutes and things that shouldn’t be laid out publicly: What is your precise, detailed plan to defeat ISIS?
Lauer tried to Palin Trump: “Are you reading and studying? Will you be ready on day one?” Stupid. No one worried about Obama.
There was a liberal nut that called Cankles “Hawkish”.
I Laughed out loud!
I think that Trump did not want to take any chances and played it safe...Just wait...he will come out strong against the moderators in the debates with their bias.
I thought Trump did very well, especially considering the adversarial environment. Did anyone else notice that people asking Hillary questions all read from cards? Not so for those who questioned Trump.
I missed that part. He did seem to get some pretty good applause and cheers when he finished though.
“If somebody is willing to risk their life or limbs to serve the country, that should be allowed.”
I agree, So would Heinlein. “Service guarantees citizenship”.
Trump slid into home base. Hillary made it to first on an easy walk. Matt tried to get Trump to spill some security briefing meat, Trump batted each attempt away(this from the channel that called for giving Trump fake briefings). Rachell Madcow admitted that her audience was ‘stacked’ with activists ‘from all over the country.’ All in all, a very good practice session for the debate, with Trump taking the win. I’d recommend he get a little more practiced dealing with contentious questions by changing the topic to a positive - not about himself but how himself can help the country. - Not “I did this” but “because I did this I have the skills to do XYZ for ABC..” (same as a person would do in a job interview). Paging George Ross for a polishing up session.
Tried but don’t do Twitter or Facebook. Looks like from some of the comments that the poll results are 50/50.
“Matt Lauer is the best Reince Priebus could negotiate?”
I wonder about the guy. With that name, has anyone checked to see if he is an illegal alien? From another planet, I mean.
I did think Trump was on longer!! And I saw her “blip” and stutter more than once. Even though everything she said was just memorized and non-responsive, she had the clenched jaw of someone suffering a form of Parkinson’s.
Well I sure hope the debates aren’t so freaking setup. Good grief, why is it the liberals are so effective at controlling the whole damn everything and republicans so inept?
