Rosie ODonnells troubled daughter Chelsea has been hospitalized in Long Island after suffering a drug overdose, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
According to an insider, the teen was in the ER late Monday night, September 5. But the source said as of that time, her TV star mother had not yet rushed to her side. Rosies rep told Radar she is not commenting.
Sadly, this is just the latest development in the tumultuous relationship between Rosie and her adopted daughter.
As Radar reported, family drama was first thrust into the spotlight last August, when Chelsea disappeared from Rosies Nyack, NY, home for two weeks. She was later found with a man and drug dealer she met on Tinder, Steven M. Sheerer.
Sheerer was later charged with endangering the welfare of a child because Chelsea was only 17 at the time of the incident.
Shortly after, Rosie released a statement saying Chelsea ran away, but the adopted teen claimed she was thrown out.
Then last October, Chelsea held nothing back during a interview detailing her troubled relationship with her superstar parent.
I find her not genuine a lot of the time. When wed go out, she was a completely different person in public than at home and I had a hard time with that, she said, alleging that shes closer to her former nannies than she is to her adoptive mother.
Rosie later called Chelseas hard-hitting interview heartbreaking on every level.
But just a few weeks ago, it seemed their relationship could be on the mend. Rosie shocked fans last month, posting a photo with her estranged daughter. In the picture, a selfie, ODonnells 18-year-old was seen smiling brightly, despite their rocky history.
Chelsea and me what a difference a year makes #hopelives, the comedian said of the photo at the time.

Prayers for the poor kid.
Another victim of the liberal culture. How horrible that Rosie O’Donnell was able to adopt that poor child.
and Rosie. The LORD isn’t willing for anyone to perish.
Poor girl.
I can imagine Rosie has many dysfunctional relationships...
“Her tv star mother had not yet rushed to her side”
It’s all about love?
Amen to that. She is clearly troubled, and by more than an addiction. Prayers for her recovery.
“Rosie, you daughter had a drug overdose”
Rosie: “What about me?”
Then last October, Chelsea held nothing back during a interview detailing her troubled relationship with her superstar parent.
“Superstar” really?
All three of them?
...posting a photo with her estranged daughter.
And someone should care because...?
Rosie has always treated her children as +if they were pets she picked +up at the pound. I cant remember how many she has but each one was all about her making a stamen for LGBT rights.

Yep. They were like storefront mannequins.
You are correct...people like this....want a “pet”. The kid can’t perform at that level.
This kid needs to just pack up and go off to Alaska and do some minimum wage work....getting the past out of her mind....and rebuild her life entirely. Forget about O’Donnell....she’s not really going to amount to much in the big picture.
Even though I don’t care for O’Donnell, I feel sorry for anyone having “troubled kids”.
The young woman is obviously disturbed but she is also emotionally bullying her family using threats of harming herself.
Oh, how sad. Best wishes for the young woman’s recovery.
Yeah, they do that.
Sorry, can't agree with you in *this* case. That fat, worthless, pig is the *reason* the kid's screwed up.
Sympathy for the kid? Absolutely.Sympathy for Rosie O'Donuts? No way,Jose.
Somebody had to raise that kid. LGBT? Doesn’t matter. As an adult the kid will have to deal with it. It’s the hand that is dealt.
