Mark Levin - NON STOP NEVER TRUMP (Vanitiy)

Posted on 08/31/2016 5:46:05 AM PDT by Scythian_Reborn

Okay, I hadn't listened to Levin in weeks, can't stand him now, but had to run some errands and took my sons car as I have the top and doors off my Jeep and it was raining. He doesn't have my stations tuned in. So I hit the AM station and Levin was on, here's my synopsis.

He first gave the "insurmountable" path Trump has to the white house and that he almost assuredly, barring a miracle, cannot win the White House. After the long diatribe just before the break he says "We nominated the wrong candidate".

Back from break he goes on and on about how he's against those that are trying to sabotage Trump, says that's wrong. Honestly, at the same time he seemingly attacking these never Trumpers he himself is doing the biggest hatchet job on Trump I've ever heard. It was amazing, at the same time while he sounded like he was laying into the never Trumpers, he himself was doing the biggest "never trump" hit job I have ever heard. I'll giving him credit, it was masterful, and I doubt the CruzBots can even detect it. No, they are in the corner hanging on every word, in the fetal position, chanting "What do I do? What do I do !!"

He then goes on to say while sabotaging Trump is wrong, and voting for Hillary is wrong, if you feel of good conscious that you cannot vote for Trump, would rather write somebody's name in, or just stay home, he respects that, due to principals.

Finally, he laid into the media for hating Cruz. At that point he just turned into a sore loser I love Ted Cruz and hope Trump loses.

Levin, and CruzBots are enemies of the Constitution every much as the liberals because they put their candidate above the country, period. Finally, I think many conservatives, of which I am one, are stupid, really just plain dumb and by and large a huge part of why we have lost elections. They cannot learn, what they know is what they will always know.

Levin then promised after Labor Day to let us know who he'll be voting for, and you can be it won't be Trump, my guess, in good conscious, it will be a write in, and I cannot imaging who? I have less than zero respect for Levin now, it was incredibly painful to listen to him, I was fighting with every ounce of strength not to turn it off. If there was a very good liberal radio station that was a non-stop attack machine on Trump, Levin's show is it.

I agree with you. Levin is not my god. I could not care less what he does. The reason we are in the condition, as a Nation, that we are today is that we have too many “experts”.

I’ve noticed the crassness and aggression often tracks between Felito and the Cruzlim jihadis. Odious folk, getting back to the thread topic somewhat.

“Conservative talk radio” as exemplified by Mark Levin and Glenn Beck, among others, has been outed as a front operation for the Republican Party Establishment engaging in acts to distract and confuse the grassroots so they do no harm to the “corporatists” (big banks and big business) who run our political system as described by Nigel Farage.

Truth. We are being strongly manipulated by both "sides", which are really just different faces of the same coin.

Maybe you can explain how anyone can be honoring the Constitution by advocating an ineligible Cubanadian for President.

His wife or girlfriend’s (don’t know if they are married) has a daughter who worked for Cruz.

Levin lost face when Trump won against his will and radio leadership power. The power of his radio show was not as powerful as he told himself it was. That makes him not as important as he thought he was.

Wounded ego and complete failure in front of his woman and her kid - that is why he has lost his mind. Humility and forgiveness are not his strong suits. Many professionals self destruct with these character flaws.

God Bless Mark Levin. Hate to see him self destruct on the crazy train.

There’s a money trail behind the Beck and Levin shows, plus others with Rush Limbaugh being independently successful, but personally committed to the GOP label.

It was the party of his father and grandfather, who were Republican leaders in Missouri. His family has a history of GOP appointments to office, ties etc.

I listen to all the shows, but with a grain of salt and I allow myself to listen to other voices and evaluate them as well.

That includes people who advocate civil disobedience like Gavin Seim or take a different view of what it means to be ‘conservative’ or “Christian” like Peter Hitchens.

And I’ll listen to Snowden or Assange, too.

There's a lot of "moronic" stuff passing for wisdom, these days. Even on this forum.

COMMENT BY LEVIN SUPPORTER:

Mark Levin, hold the line brother. The right choice is rarely the easy choice.

So, the right choice is not voting for Trump and letting the nearest thing to the devil himself appoint 5 supreme court justices? These guys are traitors at worst, fools at best.

Any Freepers with Facebook might consider posting:

Election is about SUPREME COURT! Do you want Saul Alinsky calling shots for next generation?

Election is about NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY! Do you want UN calling the shots for the next generation?

With all due respect,

Levin did not work for Reagan...he worked for some of Reagan’s staff...

By my calculations, Levin was approx. 23 years old when he was working or “advising” for some in Reagan administration... I think he highly inflates his importance in that arena...

He worked for Ed Meese, the Attorney General. I think he was Meese's deputy chief of staff.

With all due respect,

perhaps the poster of thread did not know of Levin’s affiliation with Free Republic in the past...

Many of us have pinged him for years with no acknowledgement.

Sooo, I don’t think it was bad form to consider him a public figure as this is his posting record from past nearly 6 years...

2014 he posted 14 posts one evening while on the air

2014 - 1 post thanking BigGirl for the thread

2011 6 posts

Yes, he did and was, but seriously, he was very young, and his bios don’t indicate exactly how long he worked for Meese or what he did in that capacity...

I just think Levin has become a legend in his own mind...How could such a deep thinker be supporting Hillary by default...He should know what is at stake...

He's not "Never Trump" and he's not working to defeat Trump.

It's not very likely that he's be happier with Hillary than with Donald Trump.

He just doesn't like the guy.

There's no law that says he has to or that anybody has to agree with him.

Mark Levin said he would absolutely not vote for Trump in the general, and he also said that we should count him [Levin] among the neverTrumps.

I suppose he was just kidding?

“...Reagan allowed Japan to rip the USA...”

Big Picture. There was a little thing called the Cold War going on at the time. Allowances had to be made to keep the alliances together.

Mark Levin said he would absolutely not vote for Trump in the general, and he also said that we should count him [Levin] among the neverTrumps.

I found that story: April 8, 2016.

He was obviously talking about the primary.

I can't find a direct quote for that part about not supporting Trump in the general.

Levin's Never Trump comment was tied to Roger Stone's role in the campaign, which is now long since a thing of the past.

What Levin said back then may not reflect how he thinks now that Trump is the nominee.

I only started listening to Levin recently, and I don't get the impression that he's devoted to defeating Trump.

He seems more disengaged and ticked off at a lot of people -- including Trump -- but not enough to support Hillary.

Here is the quote:

“I’m not voting for Donald Trump. Period. … These bully, dirty tricks, Nixonian tactics, they’re only going to backfire. So, count me as never Trump,” Levin said.

Period means period, and neverTrump means neverTrump. Since you’re not Mark Levin, your impressions don’t cancel his direct statements. Link me to a quote where he says he’s reneged on his neverTrump commitment, or stop wasting my time.

Sorry, but Levin lives in Virginia, and the Primary election had passed in Virginia so he already voted for Cruz...

He was not “obviously” talking about the Primary...
