After facing backlash for an earlier tweet, Donald Trump reacted by writing, My condolences to Dwyane Wade and his family, on the loss of Nykea Aldridge. They are in my thoughts and prayers.
Don Cheadle blasted Donald Trump on Saturday after the presidential candidate politicized the death of Nykea Aldridge, the cousin of NBA playing Dwyane Wade.

Why did Trump even mention it /
I know Don! Right???
Tell you what, let’s just keep ignoring these deaths and maybe they will go away. Though that will only happen, I suspect, when the last black man perishes at the hand of another black man.
What will the last black man do when there are no more blacks to hate?
Because the dems never politicize a shooting, do they?
Screw Don Cheadle.
Wonder why Don Cheadle thinks anyone cares what he has to say he’s just another spinner of facts like the MSM.
I told everyone on the initial thread. The libs or the Hillary campaign is going to use this to push for more gun control laws, and Hillary is going to have Hollywood celebrities criticize Trump for talking about this.
The Democrats might finally care about the shootings in Chicago. Of course, as it stands, they are not going to get much done.
And, where was Don Cheadle’s “opinionating” during the campaign rally held during the Wellstone funeral?
Hotel Rwanda?
:: lets just keep ignoring these deaths and maybe they will go away. Though that will only happen, I suspect, when the last black man perishes ::
No, actually these deaths will go away when the media (Tribune) ignore them. The Trib already makes the dead/wounded account another “ho-hum” weekend.
It’s coming.
Right, Don, everybody knows that we can only politicize white on black or blue on black killing.
I’ve always disliked his acting. Kind of a whinie little jerk.
Are we suppose to care MORE what this man says BECAUSE his skin is black? Isn’t that the definition of racism?
He has the right to his opinion - but it doesn’t carry extra weight because of his skin color.
I'm sure the other Americans with his skin color TOTALLY relate to Donny "The Buckwheat" and his worldview...
Black Jives Matter...
Isn’t that what cheadle is doing himself?
So did a bunch of easily frightened freepers yesterday until the mods took down the posting.
But liberals politicize it every time a cop shoots a black thug, no matter WHAT the black thug was doing at the time. Every time. Obama gets up and makes a speech about it every time.
It sounds like little Donnie with the big mouth can’t handle the truth.
That's not true. If it was the act of honoring a Medal of Honor winner would diminish the actions of all of the other members of our military. That's nonsensical. Commenting on one death, or one particular crime, does nothing to diminish the importance of other similar situations. In fact it may serve to bring public attention to an area many people have ignored.
We all know that liberal Democrats and RINOs have done little to reduce violence in inner city communities, even as they pretend to have the interests of their residents at the top of their list of concerns. Bringing public attention to the suffering caused by their inaction and bad policies is good thing.
“Trump should NOT have commented on this death because it diminishes the deaths of all of the others who are not mentioned by name.”
False. With Trump tweeting this it keeps his “Democrats have failed you in the inner cities” at the forefront. Sets up a great talking point against Cankles for the failure of Democrats to reduce violent crime in the inner cities. He also sets up other valid talking points. It’s a sad event but in the end if Trump wins there is hope these RAT strongholds will be torn down & inner city folks can have safer places to live. Remember, politics is bloodsport & Trump plays to win!
Vote Trump 2016
