I went there once. Did the old Chevy Chase routine and hightailed it out of there. I hate heights and being on the edge of such a fatal fall. I don't know why people want to do what this young woman below is doing. Death wish!

Luckily she wasn’t with a bunch of Benghazi Clinton followers ... they would have followed her over the cliff out of “solidarity”!

What was someone from Ecuador doing working at a National Park? When I was a kid, college students would kill for those jobs. I guess now they are too busy with Pokémon to have a job. No wonder they want the taxpayers to pay for their college level indoctrination and programing.

It’s doubly unsurvivable if they don’t helicopter into the canyon to see if she fell into sand.

What's so horrible is how preventable many of these deaths are. There is a book they sell at the Grand Canyon on people who died going over the rim. Some were tragic accidents and others were...sheer stupidity. I have no idea what happened here based on the article. I wonder how long before we get the complete story? I am always astounded by people at the canyons who act like its some sort of Disney attraction and treat it with the same respect. I did witness one young @ss nearly, very very nearly fall off a 400 foot ledge at the Grand Canyon. My wife and I watched the whole thing from 15 feet away and could not believe how stupid it was. He went out in an area clearly marked not to, and when he stepped out on a ledge it crumble away beneath his feet. He caught himself sliding to the edge.there would have been nothing we could do and even if, I would not risk it to climb out to pull him in, I am scared to death of heights.

Some young people were near the edge on the Natural Bridge in Virginia. Because people were walking back and forth in the center, they moved to the edge to stop and take a selfie. As they huddled their heads together, smiling and leaning back, holding the camera high, they had no idea of the danger!
