If that hit on quarterback Tony Romos back looked bad, theres a good reason for it. It was bad.
Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Romo is expected to miss 6-10 weeks with a broken bone in his back. The team will be announcing the injury; its unclear whether the team will put a duration on the absence.

I like what Rex Ryan did with most of the Bills starters yesterday - he didn’t play them.

Another hit like that and it’s Tony Romo RIP. I guess we’ll get the beginning of the Dak Prescott era quicker than we thought.

CBS Sports opened the golf coverage today with this announcement so I had to pass the word along to my daughter-in-law who’s over here working with my wife on some quilts. DIL is a huge Cowboys fan and is not happy.

I swear, Tony Romo is the most injury prone quarteback I’ve ever seen. Is there one bone he hasn’t broken?

If Romo can't take a preseason hit, it's time to retire.
And it wasn't a cheap hit.

Romo is done. He's an active quarterback, so he takes a lot of punishment. Maybe he's hit his durability limit. How many seasons has he not made it to the end of? I'm thinking three.

Romo must have osteoporosis.

Didn't see the play until now ... thanks for the link.
Looked like a fairly routine sack ... a clean tackle by the Seattle defense. Romo probably should think about hanging it up ...
