The University of Missouri (MU) is renaming its “Unisex” restrooms on campus in response to complaints that the current label isn’t inclusive.
Henceforth, restrooms intended for use by both men and women will simply be labeled “toilet.” The change is apparently meant to accommodate student complaints that the “unisex” label, intended to encompass everybody, is actually exclusionary and hurtful.
“Unisex is just such an uncomfortable and outdated word,” MU student Sterling Waldman told the Columbia Missourian. The word, Waldman said, excludes people who identify as neither male nor female. Waldman serves as the social justice chair in MU’s student senate, and successfully pushed for the student government to donate $5000 for the sake of relabeling bathrooms around campus.

Hoping they ax the admins and a adopt a ‘no safe zone, no trigger warnings’ approach.
Since when did Mizzou become the liberal hell hole of the Midwest?
It also contains the word “LET” which means “to ALLOW”.
That must, in turn, mean that MiZOO has a policy of “Anything Gees.”
Must be one heck of a mixed up student body. Especially with a campus full of “SNOWFLAKES” who have never had to cope with the word “NO”.
Even worse, it contains the word "oil."
I find “Toilet” to be an offensive name, because it’s so crappy. /S
How about “bathroom?”
Too non inclusive. It’s hurtful and micro aggressive to self identified gays, homos and queers who like to cruise public rest rooms for anonymous sex

I think they should rename the restrooms to the same name as all of us mariners refer to it:The Head. Imagine the signs:(with arrows) This way to Head.>>>
Duh! “Bathroom” is prejudicial against and offensive to people who don’t bathe. Like OWS.
How about the original name Crapper” named after the man that invented the indoor flush toilet, Mr. Crapper?
Some student might be ‘micro-aggressed’ if they found no ‘bath’ in the bathroom. The University would then have to build a ‘safe space’ for the emotionally injured snowflakes. Being snowflakes, the safe space would have to be a walk in freezer.
Why not rename the entire university “Toilet”. More apropos, I should think.
Who raised all these stupid kids that attend college and need special treatment and words. Gads I am so glad my kids never wanted to go to college and they are doing great without it!
A $100 “toilet fee per student” could provide the funding.
Just sayin’.
