lA University of Pittsburgh student trying to impress a woman by leaping from one rooftop to another instead fell into a narrow gap between the buildings near campus and had to be rescued, police said Tuesday.
The student, a 22-year-old from nearby Indiana Township, fell awkwardly between buildings in the city's Oakland neighborhood and became wedged in a narrow, debris-filled space. It took rescuers about four hours to free him.
The couple apparently got onto the roof by climbing an exterior fire escape. After the man fell, the woman alerted campus police, who called city police.

We don’t know that she was lovely, she might have been really scary looking but he was desperate. Something is mentally “off” with the guy, to pick this particular way of trying to impress a female.
But alas, the fair maiden still wouldn’t have sex with him . . .
DANG!
Ask any buck. Women’ll getya in trouble. d;^)
“This story has been corrected to show that rescuers were successful, not unsuccessful, in reaching the man through the hole in the restaurant.”
After reading this ‘poor guy’ exploit, a question (ruh-roh) came to mind.
The fellow was ‘quite interested’ in impressing the young lady, right?
How happy might he be .... if ‘the guy interest meter’ was just that much of a distance in his ‘levi’s’ to wedge him between the buildings, thereby saving his life?

Could have been one of those “here hold my beer and watch this” moments. They never end up pretty.
What women really want...men who can wedge themselves between buildings.
Depends on the wedge
Even after school some men are just destined to get wedgies for the rest of their lives.
