Ann Coulter did not hold back when talking about Roger Ailes on this weeks episode of Powerhouse Politics podcast.
Coulter, who this week published her book, In Trump We Trust, blasted the former CEO of Fox News, who she suspects might be behind Trumps latest immigration plan.
[Trump] seems to be getting contradictory advice. Ive seen these rumors hes now being advised by Roger Ailes, the former head of the Marco Rubio super PAC known as Fox News. Suddenly hes sounding like Rubio, said Coulter.
He was using all the clichés from the Gang of Eight bill, she continued. I dont know who hes getting it from, but the idea that his base is not going to mind is nonsense. And the idea that it helps him with anyone is nonsense.
Speaking with ABC News Chief White House Correspondent Jonathan Karl and ABC News Political Director Rick Klein, Coulter explained her frustration with the latest shifts in Trumps immigration plan.
I am trying to encourage Donald Trump to dump whomever the moron is who told him Americans are staying up at night worried about how people who broke our laws entering, broke our laws staying here, broke our laws taking jobs, how comfortable they are, Coulter said.

The Ministry of Propagand are pulling out all the stops.
Wall to wall effort to defeat the Wall.
The Cheap Labor Express has told them they MUST defeat Trump.
Hillary can’t.
Trump did not change his immigration plan AT ALL!!! The media took a statement from him and interpreted it the way that they wanted, so that bedwetters and fence-wobblers like the ones here on FR can run around screaming “the sky is falling”, and declare that they aren’t voting for Trump anymore...
Clearly their plan worked!
Roger Ailes is a horndog, like most men, but he is a marketing genius. If Ailes is advising Donald, good. I hope Trump takes his advice. Ailes is a proven winner. I understand Ann’s disappointment, but adjustments in policy can be made later, after the win.
How could Trump have anything to do with anyone who was on Rubio’s campaign, I thought Trump was into winners? This really bothers me
I can’t believe Coulter is piling onto this BS!
I posted this last night from Mediaite and it was yanked within minutes as “propaganda trash.” But since it’s from ABC, I bet it stays up.
We’re at the crossroads again. We may be able to get 75-80% of what we want with Trump if we can help get him over the finish line, but if we sit on out butts and do nothing, we’re sure to lose 100% with Hillary.
I wonder how she would have reacted to “I want to increase H1Bs by 500%” Cruz’s immigration plan at this point if he were able to weasel the nomination....
Exactly!
Everyone gets on their high horse around here when a candidate starts doing what it takes to win. Then they get on their pity pot when our side loses and we get stuck with a Democrat puke.
Job #1 is to win. After that, you tweak and adjust to get things done. Anyone whod doesn’t understand this isn’t paying attention.
And it’s not like ANY politician has ever stood by his promises 100%. Just look at the vaunted Ted Cruz and his so-called principled stands, which all went down the toilet the instant they conflicted with his personal ambition.
Go Trump! WIN!
Maybe Roger Ailes is genius, but the constant bashing of Trump on Fox News is, I believe, hurting Trump and his poll numbers.
Ann running to a MSM outlet to bitch and moan about something that isnt even true, is being an utter idiot!
Either these people stop helping the left, or you get the hell off the stage.
Ann never seems to need an excuse to get hysterical. As smart, as brilliant as she is, I’ve always felt there was a screw loose. Probably related to her high intelligence.
Nothing Trump has said is Rubioesque. I mean, come on, he had that evil imperialist xenophobe Nigel Farage on stage with him just this week!
If indeed Trump is being influenced by Roger, what does that say about Trump’s core values?
I don’t understand why people like Roger Ailes. He was behind Fox attacking the Tea Party and going soft on Obama after Tucson in 2011. What Trump is saying is the same as what McCain, Ryan, and Rubio said when they were promoting their amnesty plans.
I agree.
I’m not real happy right now, but I do agree.
Apparently Coulter did too.
It might go away or be locked.
Man our side is so dumb. They always fall for the media okie doke.
Agreed.
